My experience with the floral department was not pleasant to say the least. I needed some flowers and help with my purchase. She gave me the flowers, turn her back to me and walked away. Not saying a single word. Preaching fresh food is great but maybe kroger should teach courtesy to its employees..
I understand being short staffed. The gentleman who eventually came up to see what I needed was very polite and respectful. But if you don't have enough employees to have someone, be at customer service/money center don't keep it open/lit up. Did not have enough staff to be able to leave watching the self checkout. Not his fault, but don't have people wait in line for someone to come period. Again I understand not having the time to cash my check, but you also sell other goods and services out of that kiosk including tobacco. You're just going to deny sales because you're too busy? how does that business model work.?
I AM AT ONE MY FAVORITE STORES,
HERE IN THE HIGHLAND.
I AM HERE TO PICKUP A BEAUTIFUL
SHEET CAKE,
BIG ENOUGH TO FEED 50 PEOPLE.
MY CAKES HAVE ALWAYS COME FROM OTHER BAKERIES ,
BUT KROGER BAKERIES ARE BECOMING
WEll KNOW,
FOR GOOD CAKES.
IT WAS BEAUTIFUL, AND WORTH THE PRICE.
PEOPLE WERE TALKING ABOUT, THE
ICING,
WHEN THEY SAW THE CAKE,
SOME PEOPLE TOOK PICTURES OF
THE CAKE,
THEN
THE TASTE MELTED IN U MOUTH,
EVERYONE HAD TO HAVE A PIECE,
IT Went OUT QUICKLY
It MADE MY PARTY A SUCCESS!!
A BIG THANK YOU TO THE BAKERS,
AN STAFF, FOR A SUCH,A WONDERFUL, AND BEAUTIFUL CAKE,
THE ICING, AND CAKE WERE UNBELIEVABLE,
EVERYONE CAME BACK FOR MORE AN
WE HAD IT, PLUS THAT GREAT VANILLA
CREAM,.
MOST ADULTS , NEVER GET REAL CAKE OR I CREAM, ANY MORE.
THEY LOVED IT,
AND SO DID I.
THANK YOU
I’m being kind with two stars. I would have preferred to speak to the manager but she was not in. Went there at 5:15 this afternoon to find the deli closed. Someone in the deli said they were closed “because he went home early” whatever that means. I find this store to be poorly managed in terms of stocked shelves, deli hours, liquor/wine store walk-in hours, staffing and overall store cleanliness. Just look at the floor. Looks like hell and apparently no plans to improve. Seems clear to me that store management and the regional management take the Highlands community for granted - assuming we’ll spend our $$ there regardless. Well that is not the case. I spend far less $$ at the Highlands Kroger store than I used to. My impression - Kroger does not care. Publix is making a move into the Louisville market. Perhaps they can buy Gardner Lane shopping center and adjacent property and build a new store.
Pitiful selection
Always busy
Great store
This place needs better leadership and some standards. They clearly don’t care about the quality of the food. These photos speak for themselves.
Kroger has a wide variety of goods, the staff are friendly and helpful.
great selection

Always a great experience. Stocked shelves and Kroger rewards.
Underwhelmed by the green beans offered for sale. Likewise the quality of raspberries was less than stellar.
Not the worst Krogers I've ever been in ,but one of them. The way they treat their employees is just awful and no wonder why they they never have anything and nobody works. You can't even call this store, they don't answer their phones.Ask a question and you will get cussed out.I thought the I love the Cuv store in Covington is bad ,but have new found respect for it.
My experience is the same as any other Kroger or Walmart just this one I've been going to pretty much my whole life so my experience that this one is almost the same every time it's Pleasant and not too busy
BUYER BEWARE!!! If you use the online delivery as an option check your receipts. Their shoppers will charge their personal items on your account without permission. I had almost 20 dollars stolen from my card and it took 30 minutes to get customer service to refund it. Buncha theives running around Krogers with no company oversight as to how this even happened! They blamed Instacart but it's basic probability and statistics that I cannot be the first person this has happened to.
