La Bodeguita De Mima Cuban Restaurant and Rum Bar

Have driven by a dozen times and never felt called to dine here. We met some friends for dinner this week and WOW! I'm now kicking myself for not dining here sooner. We will definitely be back - and soon! Our server suggested the cubanchos with pork as our appetizer and it was yummy, as well as beautiful! Husband had the Pollo al Mojo and I had the Lechon Asado - both were cooked to delicious perfection. The restaurant was busy and lively and a little loud, but we didn't have to shout our conversation. We found room at the bar to grab a drink while waiting for our friends to join us and the heavy, cut crystal was a decadent touch. Note: I'm one of those unlucky people for whom cilantro tastes like soap. The cilantro was not at all pervasive (and I didn't ask them to tone it down).

This was the best food experience of the trip. The flavors were everything. The story behind the can is just exciting as the taste.

We love the ambience in atmosphere at La Bodeguita, but I have not been impressed by the food The last few times we were there. We chose it over another popular Cuban restaurant due to the atmosphere, but have decided the food and the value for it is not as good as Havana rumba and will likely not return.

The patio was quieter than inside at the time of our dinner. Weespecially enjoyed the entertainment as well as the food.

Really good dining experience here. We sat in the outdoor area in the back of the building, live music, great food and excellent service!

On the pricey side but definitely worth it. Very tasty with a nice atmosphere and good service.

La Bodeguita De Mima is absolutely amazing. Everything was perfect from the food to the service. The live music also added to the fun atmosphere. My boyfriend and I absolutely loved everything about this place and will definitely be back.

Mmmm. The Ropa Vieja was enough food for a family of 4!! It was so good. Also ordered the Cuban sandwich. The pickles were the star of the sandwich. It has fun presentation, coming in a can with the story of ropa.

We will be back.

We arrived early and checked in. They told us about the room out back so we went and looked and got seated right away. We got drinks,bread and appetizer and then our meals. We have been here before and think it's the best Cuban restaurant!

The food, service, and atmosphere =10/10 Abby was our server and was absolutely amazing! Our food came out quickly and was absolutely delicious! I highly Recommend the espresso martini (can't remember the name on the menu) it was the best I've ever had! We will definitely be back!

Absolutely wonderful food and service was amazing! We will be back when we are in town next for sure!

Mannnnn. This place is EXCELLENT. My second time here was just as amazing as the first. Eve was our server and she was fantastic. We had a group of seven and a lot of us split our entrees so we could try everything. There was literally nothing we didn’t love. We live three hours away and I would drive here just to eat dinner. Kudos to you guys and thank you to eve for the fantastic service! If you have an opportunity to sit outside on the outdoor enclosure do so! It’s a tropical paradise in Kentucky!
