La Bodeguita De Mima Cuban Restaurant and Rum Bar

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the country. Phenomenal food and exceptional service. The beans are weirdly addictive.

First time visiting this lovely place. It hit all that right marks. Fantastic food, ambience as well as service. Will be making a visit soon.

As always, unbelievably good. Cocktails were great, food spectacular, ambience even better. Highly recommend the canned meat, viejo.

Second time at Mimas. Fantastic food and drinks once again! My son had the mahi and is still raving about it. I had the arroz imperial - fantastic as well but was lacking on the chicken (only a half piece for entire dish). Flavor was fantastic though!

Best of Louisville!! No matter what you order, you will be amazed at the flavors, perfect textures, and consistency each and every time. Love it!!

This was our second dinner at La B in as many nights. The food was so good especially the Shrimp ceviche and Picanha plate. The first night we shared a Cuban and the skirt steak. This night it was the Salmon and Picanha plate. We asked for a second bread service to mop up the ceviche sauce and it was well worth the extra carbs! The best part was I forgot my credit card at the restaurant the first night and they had it for me when I realized it the next night. Service was stellar and the place is the best place on Main St with the highest value. Will be back here whenever we visit Louisville!

Absolutely delicious and very authentic. Highly recommend! I think staff could have suggested more regarding specialities or offered more bread. The decor is fantastic. Definitely a must when in Louisville. Only negative is that the failed to answer the phone four times. We were coming from near Nashville, and did not anticipate street closures. I attempted to call in case we were late for the reservation. I started calling when they opened, and I only recieved voicemail. I left a message, and I messaged through OpenTable. No response which is very poor form. Otherwise, excellent!

Outstanding service and dining experience. This was the second time we have been at this restaurant. I can't say enough about the food, we especially enjoyed the appetizer this time, Cubanchos, we highly recommend it. There are many delicious flavors in this dish it's hard to beat. Fabulous evening - the food, service and atmosphere was the perfect location for 24 adults celebrating a birthday. The total lbill was very reasonable too - I wish I live closer so I could go again next weekend!
