YaimaSo I entertain clients for a living, which has brought me to some if the highest rated restaurants in the country. So when I say that this experience was par none the greatest I have ever had, it puts me in shock that this hidden oasis is nestled in Louisville. If I had stumbled upon this restaurant in a little haven of Cuba that would make more sense. The love was experienced in every bite but the passion of our waitress brought it all to a climax that will live with us forever. Yaima was one of lights in the industry that reminds you that people make the difference. She was the star that brings this wonderful experience to the mountain top of a five star experience. Recommend you sit outside where you can experience authentic cuban music as the food whisks you away to time that food speaks all language and units cultures. Bravo.

Absolutely fantastic! The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. All of our servers recommendations were great. The pork dishes were especially good. Best dish of the night though was the salmon surprisingly. Enjoyed the love music as well. You call tell they worked hard to make you feel that you are fully emersed in the Cuban culture. Loved the fedoras on all the servers.Vegetarian options: Salad options available but overall the menus is dominated by meat dishesParking: To the left of the buildingWheelchair accessibility: Ramp to the left of the entrance

Wow!! What an unexpected gem in downtown Louisville. Definitely look for reservations if you can get them it's totally worth it.The Cubano was the best ive ever had. The pork was absolutely amazing, seasoned to perfection, incredibly tender. Melts in your mouth. Of our group the salmon was probably the favorite. We thoroughly enjoyed it they cooked it perfectly and the guava sauce on top was amazing.Don't skip the plantain chip nachos with pork either.We had the mojito pitcher and the margarita pitcher. Our group preferred the mojito. It easily served 6 cocktails, plus a few more.Kid-friendliness: Kids were here, no issues, it can be loud thoughWheelchair accessibility: Back entrance seemed to have wheelchair access.
Tostones and plantains were great for apps. The shirt rib was so tender. Chicken and rice was amazing. Ask for the pina colada mojito not on the menu. It was fabulous. Some of the best Cuban food I've ever had.

Definitely a must try restaurant. I love Cuban food & try to get it anytime I’m out of town for work. This place knocked it out of the park. they had my favorite Cuban dishes, the food was absolutely delicious, atmosphere is amazing & the service is phenomenal here. From the moment you arrive till the moment you leave you receive the best service out there. I haven’t had a restaurant experience like this in awhile.

This was my second time here and it was more enjoyable than my first! Our waiter was prompt, personable and gave us a rather unique experience with giving suggestions or telling us about certain dishes and their history.For anyone getting empanadas, you can mix and match! I didn't previously know that... My date and I ordered the Ropa Vieja en Lata and Pescado Crujiente. We ended with Tres Leches and Cafe Cubano for dessert. Everything was wonderful. Thank you, Ramon!

WOW!!! What an amazing experience! Josh our server was awesome, super friendly, helpful, explained in detail everything!! We started with the ceviche which was great, she had a tropical mojito which was so good she texted a picture of it to her friends to brag, I had the encrusted Mahi, which was amazing, she had the salmon, couldn't decide which was better ..both were phenomenal! It was like we were in Cuba,a nice relaxing 5 star dinner. It gets busy so make a reservation! But don't pass this place up.Parking: When we were there, there was free parking after 5 on the street.
This place is incredible! Arroz Imperial is the only way to go! Legit Cuban!

The dining area layout was unique. It felt like my group was in a separate room even though we weren't. The waitress was awesome. She was there enough to answer questions and provide refills, but not overbearing and trying to hurry us along.
