I am embarrassed to admit that I’m just now trying La Peche! It was amazing! Wonderful soft bread served with evo and salt. And the most beautiful pasta stuffed with mozzarella and ricotta cheeses. I’ll be back! Sorry no pictures because I ate all of it! Definitely a place I will recommend to my AirBNB guests!

Kathy Cary is cooking up some delicious eats in here, and the service is outstanding.

La Peche is a definite go to when you want to treat yourself to a great lunch or dinner! My love for this restaurant and take out stemmed from when they were in Holiday Manor! Unfortunately they closed this location but so happy their Bardstown Road is thriving!

Farm to table gourmet to go by generational locals with posh.

Arguably my favorite lunch in Louisville. The offerings in the case are always fantastic. The pimento cheese is mouthwatering, as is the benedictine. You must try the fried chicken sandwich -- it's the best in the city.

Best lunch in the highlands. Quality. Delicious. With Burgers no longer around, this place can satisfy your chicken tender obsessions. Get the Burgers Fried Chicken.

I was leaving town and arriving back on Christmas, so dropped into Lilly's take out to get food for our holiday meal. The food was incredible. Their beef bourguignon with noodles was really out of this world, even after being frozen and reheated. I picked up four petite creme brí»lée and the staff gave me unsolicited but badly needed advice on how to keep it fresh for several days. It was their suggestion to have custard and shells packaged separately and even sent me home with a little brown sugar. A gentlemen brought out a propane torch and demonstrated how to carmelize the topping. The lady who waits on me asked questions about when I was serving the food and was extremely helpful. On Christmas I came back home to easily construct a meal worthy of any of louisvilles finest restaurants. My guests raved about each dish! Thanks Kathy for having such thoughtful and helpful staff. I never would have been able to put this meal together without them. Our Christmas dinner was one of the best I've ever served!

This is great place for a quick lunch in the Highlands. We sat outside on a beautiful afternoon. Service is great, they bring everything out to you. We ordered two of their pasta dishes which has to be reheated. Of course this is not as fresh as if it was prepared to order but was still very nicely flavored with big pieces of shrimp and chicken in each dish. Deviled eggs had too much onion for my taste. I like to come here and try the different options they have to choose from. There's always something new and some favorites they keep all the time.

Unequivocally the best in town! Well it's part of Lillies so that should make you mouth water just thinking about it!!!

Best chef in Kentucky. Period. I live 2500 miles away and whenever I come back to Kentucky, it is the first place I eat. Teresa is the best! I wish Seattle had La Peche.

I'd been meaning to try this place for a while and finally made it this Saturday afternoon. Really good food at reasonable prices. We had some chicken pasta salad with heirloom tomatoes and calamati olives which was really good. The best was the fried chicken sandwich served on a Nord's bakery bun. Very good. My only complaints would be that the pasta salad was almost as expensive as the chicken sandwich and the chips served with the sandwich were just not very good and weren't eaten. A few were very stale and none of them had much taste. Will definitely be back for the chicken sandwich and to try some other things. Desserts looked great.

Decided to try a new place and boy this was a great choice. Cute little place right off Btown Rd on Patterson, connected to Lilly's. I ordered the black bean patty which came with brown rice and a delicious relish. They warmed it up for me! I also bought some homemade pimento and pita chips for a snack later. Great place to grab a delicious lunch that ISN'T fast good. Pretty sure I'll become a regular!

Very well prepared food for taking home and heating up for dinner! Beware, the employes often undersell how the options are prepared and taste but you cannot go wrong with any choice. La Pečhe's Chef Scott Darnell & owner Kathy Carry are the ONLY ones who prepare the food as to show you the food here does not play around. They also offer very high quality bottles of olive oil and balsamic for sale as well as Kentucky Tavern sauce and delicious pimento cheese. This is the perfect spot to come with coworkers on your lunch break or after work to take home when you don't feel like preparing dinner yourself.
