Sides were good, I ordered spicy Jjamppong. Everyone else’s dishes were great, mine was watery and over cooked, and not very spicy even though I asked for spice 5 (1-6). At first was nervous to tell the server, then my mother mentioned it wasn’t very good, and that it wasn’t that it was spicy it was just off, and the server tried to offer me yogurt. Yogurt isn’t going to uncook it or season it better, and kind of rude honestly.

Every time I go here, it takes forever to get any food. The most recent time We waited 45 minutes for our appetizer, the seafood pancake, and it was slightly doughy once we got it. Still very good though. The food here is delicious, it just takes forever. The room is a bit loud as well since they tend to put everyone in the same little back room. Place is packed at lunch time so it’s very loud.

Location is at the bottom of an office building. Very easy to get to and lots of parking. I will say you probably want to make sure you read and understand the menu before you go or at least have some understanding. They may struggle to understand you and you them. They were very friendly though. We started with the beef egg rolls. The beef was like the cuts of steak and were sweet like they may have been from the bulgogi dish. I thought it gave the egg roll nice flavor. There wasn't a lot of beef in it though. Wish there was more. There were a lot of vegetables inside. I wasn't expecting the celery and could've done without that but still good. I would get them again. We got Rajogi and Jajangmyon. Rajogi was kind of a sweeter soy sauce base. I thought it tasted good, but my son wanted more of sweet and sour but was steered away from the sweet and sour chicken because of the fruit that is cooked into the sauce. The lunch portion was massive. It was so much food as you see in the picture. It also comes with 6 side items in the small bowls. I had the Jajangmyon. Couldn't taste beans really but it seemed to have an eel sauce or soy sauce in it maybe. Really good flavor though. I will definitely come again.

The portions were huge and it tastes amazing. Definitely loved the bigger pieces of cucumber kimchi than I was used to elsewhere.

I've been wanting to try Lee's for a while. It's located under one of the office buildings. Plenty of parking around the building! When I walked in, they were busy! People were waiting for a table. Mostly families here. Thankfully, my friend got there before me and was already seated. We went ahead and ordered barley tea to share and a few entrees: japchae, soondubu jjigae, and bibimbap. We waited an HOUR for the food! I was pretty hungry. Not sure if they were short-staffed but it was a bit frustrating, especially for how busy they were. The food was just okay. It tasted good, but not traditional. It seemed like they toned down the flavors to suit the audience. Not as much sesame oil or even enough of the tang in the kimchi. Our barley tea tasted like it was on its fifth steep. Too watery. We did enjoy the banchan. You could tell they were also toned down but they weren't bad. If you've never had Korean food, you should try this place. But it's just not going to be on par with Kum's or other spots in town.

The only place I've found jjajangmyeon in Louisville and it's sooooo good. The banchan is also top tier! Always great service and phenomenal food. 10/10 recommend

I forgot how much I love this place. It is tucked into the bottom of an office building off of Bishop Lane. And if you didn't know it was here you might not ever find it.! The stone be bimbop is amazing as is any of their kimchi choices such as the kimchi pancake ! I would recommend going early as the place can get crowded. The wait staff is very helpful and can help you make a good choice if you cannot choose from the many different options that are available.
