I tried the Life Bar last year in Louisville while they had a physical location and absolutely loved the service, healthy and delicious smoothies. I needed to have it again and was thrilled to learn that they ship to Washington DC. I ordered the variety pack and delivery was prompt, with so much dry ice I used gloves to handle the packages just in case. I was really impressed with the service, quality and packaging. Didn’t have to worry about spoiling and would definitely order again from this local spot.

I am a s***** for a good açaí bowl, and LIFEbar has one. This gem of a breakfast/lunch/snack blends strawberries and blueberries with açaí powder, and is topped with a generous heap of other yummy delights, including bananas, strawberries, blueberries, granola, flaked coconut, and cashew cream, as well as a drizzle of either honey of agave nectar. And. It. Is. Delicious. Also pricey, at $13 plus tax, which is why I do not go often, but when I do... I'm pretty sure my mental and physical health improve by... a lot.

I met friends here for a Monday afternoon pick-me-up. It's located inside Rainbow Blossom by the front entrance. They sell soft serve as well as smoothies. They were out of a lot of flavors so my friends got the chocolate and pumpkin soft serve. They both enjoyed it! The pumpkin flavor wasn't overwhelming, which was perfect! I decided to try the Chocomaca, which had banana, chocolate, and many other things. The girl at the counter suggested I had almond butter to add to the flavor. She also added some honey to add a little sweetness to it. Yum! It was really filling and you could taste the protein in there. It's a good way to get your serving or protein and fruits. It's nice that it's dairy free for those of us who can't consume it. There's some bar seating by the window but there are more tables on the other side of the entrance. As we sat, I saw others walking around the store eating or drinking the soft serve and smoothies. Looks like lots of people enjoy the stuff!

Meh... It's ok. Not very tasty and a bit pricey. I might be a bit biased because I have my own Vitamix blender and make healthy, tasty smoothies all the time.

I can't believe I haven't written a review for this place yet! My favorite from the menu is the acai bowl, definitely order the large size since the regular bowl is so tiny. Smooties are on the pricey side but I think they're all worth the try. Love the soft serve ice cream too!
Tasty products but simply wayyyyyy too expensive...we're talking $10+ per smoothie. They do offer a lot of premium ingredients which costs money but for the price of 3 smoothies I could buy a whole bag of supplement & make a smoothie myself just as easily at home.

Generally the owners are not friendly but it's been ok since I don't usually deal with them directly. I had been going here for years and have spent amounts of money I don't even want to admit! ;P!! This place is down the street from my home so I mostly go for the convenience factor, the celery juice and ginger shots. They now no longer have the celery juice and ginger shots. I was going anyway until I heard the owner (yet again) snap at a customer asking a simple question. I've heard similar stories from friends that used to go here as well. I can no longer support a business that is repeatedly not friendly to their customers. It's a JUICE BAR not a World War... These owners should be friendly and happy that customers are paying $10 a juice! I now go the distance to somewhere else with cheaper prices and friendly service.

I came here for the first time and I thought it was cute! The service was fairly fast and it wasn't too busy when I went. I ordered the Chocomaca Protein drink and it was good! I thought it was a little bit dry and somewhat hard to drink with the straw, but I can always appreciate a good natural smoothie bar! It is pricey, but the ingredients they use are good quality and natural! I'd much rather put my money towards places like this than ordering something artificial from fast food places.
