Lil Wagner's at Derby City Gaming and Hotel

My husband and I went to Lil Wagners for breakfast. It was a real disappointment. We've eaten there several times for lunch and it was pretty good but again breakfast was a disappointment.

It's all pretty good food I had the fish sandwich my friends had the fried chicken it was all good French fries are decent, tartar sauce and barbecue sauce are worth the purchase of the food seriously....anyway, it's a casino...

40 mins for 3 chicken tenders a fries . I could of went to a fancy restaurant for that wait.

So we have eaten here lots of times. The first time they drenched the chicken straps in sauce that was supposed to be on the side. Needles to say my son would t eat it drenched in BBQ sauce. The fries didn't have a grain of salt or flavoring on them
And we left without any condiments. So in the trash they went. Missing the big slices of delicious pickles. Half the onion rings looked burnt but tasted ok ish....the only upside were the regular wings. But you guys hade 4 people in the kitchen and atleast 3 or 4 upfront. Yall could do better. Since yall raising the prices all the dang time. So I'd say yall dropped the ball this time.

The staff are absolutely delightful! ? I especially love the unique feature specials and desserts! ??The apple crisp is fantastic! ? it hurts my heart to say but the Pizza is ?? but that queso burger and them Brussel sprouts are ? and bring back the cheesy bread and nachos ??

Fries were cold and old. We had burgers and fries to go, the burger was great but the fries were had like brick..aka.refried. called and spoke with the manager and he assured me the fries were less than seven minutes old. If this was the case why were they rubber hard and cold as ice. Yes seven minutes old refried several times! Don't eat here!

A suggestion from a chef to the chef.please put your burger patty on paper before placing it on the bun. It's so soggy with grease the bottom bun falls apart. Other than that , the food is absolutely delicious, the staff is very friendly etc . Just FIX the problem and it will be perfection!

The food here is always served hot and is very good. I highly recommend the chili with all the fixings, the cheeseburger, and possibly the best smoked baked beans I've ever had.
