Came to Louisville to see my brother and his wife today. My brother suggested we go for Mexican food at Limon Y Sal which is very close to their home... great food, great service, and great drinks. If you’ve never been, I highly recommend you going for a meal... Tim Toepfer Spring Hill TN

Throughout the pandemic, we've only eating outside or in bubbles and are so grateful to places like Limon y Sal for offering families this option! We've been twice and both times the Igloo has been cozy and warm the food has been hot and delicious and the service was excellent. Love all the unique menu options and so glad this gem of a restaurant survived 2020!

There are several igloos set up with atring lights inside of them and a little heater. The heater sufficiently warmed the igloo, and the waiter would stand at the entrance to the igloo to social distance. The food was good as was the service.

So my friend suggested this restaurant as she enjoys the Carnita street tacos. We are at 25% occupancy and they had nice outdoor seating area. They had a small square on the table and when the server ask is what we wanted we ask for a menu and he said we had to scan the square and the menu would be on our iPhone. We had Androids and were not prepared for that so he got a menu . We ordered frozen Margaritas and they were great. We ask the server about the menu and what came with the meals and he just kept telling us he didn't know? He didn't seem to know anything about the food or the bar? We got two kinds of red sauce that was ok and the chips were thick and hard chips. We got a chorizo cheese dip that was very good. When our food came my combo said it came with sour cream. I didn't get any so I ask told him , and he said it didn't come with it. O showed him on the menu where it said it comes with sour cream. He seemed to be getting upset about it and after that had an attitude for awhile. The food was good. The guac was also excellent. I still gave him 20% because were in a pandemic, but I didn't want too.

This place is truly amazing. The cleanliness of the restaurant is just the beginning. Margs and carnitas burrito were best I've ever had!

In the time of COVID-19 they took time on the phone to courteously recommend menu items even though they were busy. As soon as I pulled into a parking space they came to the car asked my order number and I was in and out in 3 minutes. Definitely will be back! Food was fresh and stands apart from other restaurants serving Latin food in Louisville!

The food had excellent flavor. I am a fan. But on a busy night it can be extremely loud inside. The need to soften up the interior

So loud. 90db on Monday. Live music adding to the noise. Ridiculous. Impossible to have a peaceful meal or conversation.

The food is absolutely wonderful, the drinks are fabulous, and the service is impeccable. Definitely a great place for lunch or dinner.

This is a family favorite for my family of 5 with 3 teens. The food is amazing - - We particularly like the street tacos, fajitas and mocajete dish, but everything we have had is great. The drink specials are good and their sangria swirl margarita is my all time favorite. While we love the food, we come back again and again because it has a great family feel. The staff treats you like family and knows you by name. (I do wish they would wear nametags so I could remember theirs, as it took me a while to get them all down). They know our favorite drinks, sauces, etc. without us having to even ask. They have a green sauce that comes in a squirt bottle that is great on the street tacos - - adds good heat --- and we eat it even on our chips. Great queso. They have live music on Monday evenings. Fun party room in the back that will seat about 12 if you have a larger party. We return weekly, because it is just that good.

Was told the lunch menu / food / service was the best We came Saturday 1/25 at about 1pm. The place was about 25% full, lots of servers. We gave orders and received our drinks and salsa/chips promptly. And then the wait and the wait and the wait Waiter after about 20 minutes (a lifetime for a Mexican restaurant) said food will be out soon. My meal was over cooked. My wife's was fresh. I am guessing they made my order, but forgot or messed up on my wifes'. So, mine sat and sat. The waiter said my plate was very hot (evidence), yet my wife's was not. Not coming back.
