I moved away from Chicago almost 20 years ago. this brought me right back. I haven't had a real combo beef since I left. this wasn't just wet, it had a full on baptism! well be back soon!
It was my first time stopping at this restaurant, and it was not bad. I ordered a hotdog frie and a drink. the dog was good, but the bun was not fresh. like it had been out too long,then I ordered a polish witch was a hotdog. He claims chicago Street Food, but he is way off. overall, it's not bad for fast food, but it does not compare to a chicago hotdog or a deep-fried polish
Clark st Chicago dogs are delicious. Fresh crunchy cucumbers, flavorful tomatoes— the perfect amount of sauces. The crunch of the onions and the real beef hot dog on the chewy poppyseed bun it’s perfection. It hits the spot everyday at lunch with a fizzy cream soda and some of their crinkle cut fries cooked perfectly. Not too soggy not crunchy.
