Each diner of our party of four had a perfectly prepared meal & great drinks with top-notch service provided by Michael at Lou Lou Food + Drink - St. Matthews. Looking forward to visiting again soon!
I showed up to the restaurant for my reservation. I was immediately seated. The table that was selected was by the window with an excellent view of the outside and excellent lighting for the table.. the food and service was excellent! I would definitely die here again and again
Great pizza and friendly staff, thank you.
First time I've been at Lou Lou! Great food and service! I would highly recommend this to anyone!
Fabulous variety on the menu. We went for the Cajun food but were delighted to find pasta, pizzas, sandwiches, and American favorites. We'll be back.
This was such a wonderful dining experience, especially for it being our first time here! The menu had such variety that even the vegetarians in the family were satisfied. The Bayou Dip and Spinach Lavash should not be skipped, they were excellent to start off the meal! I got the redfish and was absolutely blown away; everything about it was perfection. Lastly, the brownie and banana pudding were the perfect cherries on top to end a delicious meal, I didn't expect to eat the whole thing. Our server was also wonderful, the only negative of the night was there were a lot of flies where we were seated. It wasn't anyone's fault but definitely distracted from the wonderful dinner. All around great food and experience!
Always amazing food! Brought an old friend from Augusta, GA, and he was blown away! The chocolate covered bacon on the Smokehouse Old Fashion was a treat!
The food was very good. The flies on the windows, buzzing over our heads/food while eating was not good. Second time in the past six months eating at same table; same issue both times. First time I considered a possible one off. Not the second time.
My wife and I had reservations for 730. When we arrived I identified myself to the young person at the desk and she pointed to a table across from the reservation desk with no salutations or professionalism. About 10 minutes later a waitress that was also waiting on the table next to ours asked if we had been helped? Sitting without a water or menus I thought it might be obvious. We should have left at that point but we ordered an appetizer. It came late and then the rest of meal was rushed. We frequently go to Lou Lou both in St. Matthews and Downtown so I would have taken them off our list of favorite restaurants had this not been a one off. The restaurant was half empty.
Great place for lunch with a wide menu selection. Didn't ever feel rushed, will definitely revisit!

The food and service were great. We will have to come back and try the apps. the oven was broken and unfortunately all the apps we heard great reviews on were unavailable. But overall, it was good choice for a Father's Day dinner.
Food was amazing! We did ask for bread and it was so dry and couldn't eat. def disappointed there. but the meal was fantastic
Amazing service, the food was on point, their sprite? Super special and amazing. Don’t walk run! Worth the money you spend for sure.
The atmosphere was great, and the staff were all amazing. The food is like nothing you will ever experience, absolutely the best food in town!
Delicious food, variety of choices for most palates, and most importantly for us, kid-friendly. Everyone that interacted with our table was super helpful and friendly. Our food was delicious and all of it came with no fuss. We brought out of town guests this trip and they commented on how good it was and to keep this on our short list to bring visitors.
