LouLou has excellent food. It is a great local spot to eat with the family. It is nice to have something a bit unique, contrasting to our usual dining.
Pork chop special was fabulous!!
We wanted to experience an “authentic” Hot Brown Sandwich and found Lou Lou’s. We were not disappointed! Wow! Service (especially Drew), food and atmosphere were fantastic! Highly recommended!

The chicago style pizza was absolutely epic! Server was very friendly.
I absolutely love Lou Lou’s and I hadn’t been to the St Matthews location in a while. I arrived after the lunch hour and they were steady but not overly crowded. I was seated immediately and the server brought water but after about 10-15 minutes of waiting, I left because I had an appointment that I didn’t want to miss.

Absolutely wonderful deep dish pizza. We got it to go, so we did not experience the restaurant, but the pizza was heavenly

My favorite restaurant in Louisville. A must visit for the blue cheese polenta whenever I'm passing through.
The waitress was friendly, kind and polite.Chicago Deep Dish Pizza had a little weird taste and not very good.I ate one and a half piece. She asked if I wanted a box and I said just throw the pizza away. The She Crab Soup was really delicious.

Great food New Orleans style
Great service
Great drinks and desserts
The food kinda sucked. We went around 3pm and it was not very busy. It looked decent but the quality of the food was very underwhelming for the price. Bayou dip was almost entirely sour cream and cream cheese. Lemon Linguine was almost all lemon and no seasoning. I got a hot brown and instead of mornay it had a mound of cheese and was DRENCHED in grease and pretty much unseasoned. This is at a CAJUN restaurant. it was $60+ too
It was very bright!
I appreciate a darker atmosphere.
Having drinks and a meal in the evening is less comfortable under bright lighting.
We are now having dinner and drinks at a restaurant close by on Sears Ave.

Food was excellent. They have fennel you can actually taste in their marinara and itβs great (cheese pizza, meatball sandwich). Blue cheese coleslaw is delicious but maybe a bit too rich. Their side salad was far better than most Iβve had, fresh crisp and lots of good ingredients. The fried oyster entree with etouffe is excellent, too.
