Had Dinner here this weekend I had the fried chicken Mac n cheese and collard green My brother had pork chops oh don’t forget about the grape kool-Aid the food came out hot and fresh.
The fried chicken or meatloaf perfectly cooked with sides. I had the green beans, cabbage with cornbread and sweet tea.
We reserved her upstairs space for 30 people and had what was supposed to be a buffet from 1-4. When one rep from our group arrived there was someone (s) in our space. We set up our buffet equipment, the food came out pan by pan over the course of 30 mins plus starting around 2:15-2:30, folks didn’t get to eat til almost 3, folks were charged three different prices, then when I went to inquiry as to why things weren’t on time (she asked when we were coming to the rep and she said within the hour, Lucretia said perfect, that was at 12:54pm, mind you our event started at 1pm) because she got extra time and I was met with an attitude, blatantly asking me what I wanted her to do in order to fix it? SHE asked if I was asking for a discount (I wasn’t) I just wanted to know why our food was so late, when we had paid and confirmed at least 7-10 days prior. She spoke about being a business owner and how it’s hard running it when things go wrong, I advised that I too was a business owner and that if my client had paid and I didn’t deliver they had the right to question me. It has already taken me a long time to reach someone (I used the Facebook inbox when she first opened up, and I believe I sent an email) I also spoke with a live person this time, that’s the most contact I got. Lucretia blamed it all on lack of communication citing that she had spoken with another woman, but never me, although that woman was doing what I asked because she had a personal number and obviously the number/person I had originally used no longer worked for Lucretia. For 30 people we got one pan of each food item we pre-arranged to be on our menu, the water decanter never worked, and the sternos (that I had to ask for) wee never lit so the food didn’t stay hot once it got up there, we also never got one of the menu items, our cornbread. I’ve dined before and love the food, but waiting forever for food has been consistent, but when we paid for a private dining experience and were essentially dismissed because she totally shouted out a comedian who had been in town, for coming through it left us wondering if this last minute “celebrity” took up her prep time for locals who had supported her over the years. Never again, it was the disrespect, the attitude, and the dismissive behavior for me and my sorors.
My sister and I had catfish, coleslaw and Mac n cheese. Not listed in choices below.

I always received good food, but today March 21 the cornbread was super hard. I was told gravy comes with.y dressing and it did not! It was not good taste. Croquettes fried a little hard. Sweet potatoes was delicious and the green beans. I hope my next experience be better.

We really wanted to support this business again however my experience was not good. The prices were outrageous, wait time was disappointing ( over 1 hr) and the quality of the food was 1/10. Salmon croquettes were burned, pork chops seemed old and recooked and our sides were cold. When the owner was in her previous location the food was stellar. We would drive an hour for her dessert and salmon croquettes. Just wanted to give honest feedback, I hope I could revisit in the future. $60+ tip... Very disappointed ☹️

Ate here today and wasn't disappointed. Chicken was crispy and hot to the bone. Greens taste like my grandma made them. They are cooked with smoked turkey 👍🏿👍🏿 and the Mac and cheese was flawless. Only problem was the cornbread looked good but was hard as a brick. Definitely going back

It was the perfect visit. Nice friendly staff. Food hot and fresh. I'm still so sorry that I had to be the guy to come in last minute, but I made sure to taste the rainbow. Ribs. Wings. Cabbage. Greens. Cornbread. Sweet potatoes. My meal tastes like a DREAM!!🖤

Food is bland no seasoning, no taste at all Paid $25 for a plate of salmon croquettes with greens and mac and cheese as sides & it was the worst decision I made. Was told to pick up in 45-1 hour & when I got there I still had to wait 20/30 minutes for my food. Salmon croquettes were dark as f & really crispy. (Burnt) & nothing had flavor. It really disappointed me & I hate wasting money on disgusting unseasoned food. Won’t be returning.

My wife and I ate at this establishment and we were absolutely satisfied. The food was great. The service was great and the establishment was clean and inviting. We will most definitely be back and try everything that is on the menu.

I ordered a take out order. And the food wasn't up to my standards. No seasoning on the fried chicken or the greens. The macaroni and cheese was cheesy but unseasoned.
