I have been obsessed with Mark’s since I first learned they existed. My boyfriend constantly spoils me with Mark’s because he knows I love their BBQ, and their green beans are absolutely to die for every time. The only thing in my many visits that has ever disappointed me was their Burgoo, tried it once; never again unless they change the recipe. It’s pretty bland and awful really.
Every time I go, either with or without my boyfriend, the service is spectacular. Ashley at this location is always a pleasure to see, she’s always got a smile on her face, she’s always so warm and welcoming to every customer she interacts with.

Best barbeque in Louisville! Their smoked turkey and ribs are without equal in this area. In addition to their barbeque main courses, all of their sides, sauces and desserts are hand-made in store--and it shows. Their burgoo is a hidden treasure and a hearty meal all by itself. Everything at Mark's is always fresh, great and tasty. Waitstaff is always friendly and attentive. One of our go-to restaurants for great barbeque!
Vegetarian options: Fried and baked fish along with salmon burgers.
Dietary restrictions: They are careful and informative about lactose-free I can say from experience.

We loved this place. The food was so good and the atmosphere was fun. Parking could be tricky, busy area.
The food and service was excellent. We were from out of town and Megan and Kristin provided us with recommendations as to what we should order. They were so right! Both of them went above and beyond to help us celebrate my Dad’s 82nd birthday. We will go back without any hesitation.
