Just ordered Marks Feed Store on DoorDash. Order was for pulled pork sandwich with fries and beans snd rib basket with slaw and toast. For the 3rd time in a row, no toast in the rib basket. The 4 is bone ribs were the tiniest I have ever seen. Slaw had SO much dressing it was like soup. I ordered the sweet bbq sauce for the pulled pork. What I was given was the very hot bbq sauce. It is SO hot we cannot eat the sandwich. We had no way of knowing it was hot bbq sauce until after it was on the sandwiches. They ruined our meal!

My family and I visited this restaurant from Kansas City, Kansas. We were greeted as soon as we got in with a friendly host and our waiter was amazing. We were looking forward to having Kentucky barbecue and it was truly delicious. We truly felt welcome from the staff. They made sure, as first timers, we left with a bottle of bbq sauce and a pie. We will highly recommend this great experience.

We stopped in on our way home from Ohio to GA and had the absolute best experience. Our server was friendly and had great recommendations. Our food was amazing!
I accidentally left my purse and didn't realize it until the next day when we were back home. I called and the wonderful manager is having it mailed to me! So thankful for him and glad we stopped in!

We’re visiting from out of state and we were looking for something kid-friendly and a locally owned spot.
Ended up finding Mark’s and overall we were pretty satisfied.

The staff seemed “bored” to be at work and just kinda doing the bare minimum. There was also a female employee who kept trying to clear the plates while we were obviously still eating. Like she would reach for them and then ask if she could take it, but we were still eating and the kids are slow eaters.

The restaurant seemed to be clean and we sat in a booth. Kids got kids menus with crayons to keep them entertained.

The food was quite delicious and came out quickly and hot. We had the ribs combo with honey wings, spicy fries, and sweet potato fries. My kids had fried pickles and the kids pork sandwich. The ribs fell off the bone and tasted so good. The honey wings were crunchy (in a good way) and perfectly sweet. The sweet potato fries tasted like churros with cinnamon and sugar. The spicy fries were tasty, but we didn’t think they were spicy at all.

Prices were very reasonable too!

Server was in a rush. Took my friend's plate before he was even done eating.

I love this place, sad to learn it is closing due to low traffic (my hypothesis is all the noise on Bardstown Rd and the aggressive passer-bys that approach anyone and everyone they see...too bad the city no longer cares about this precious neighborhood...all the good hot spots seem to be leaving) Anyway, Marks is my favorite bbq place and thats saying a lot, I mean, bbq is quite competitive.

I made Mark’s Feed Store my first meal in Louisville, and I was happy with my choice. I got a bowl of burgoo stew with a pulled pork sandwich. The sandwich BBQ was delicious, but the burgoo was the star of the show for me. I don’t know if I’ve had such a savory, flavorful stew before. After that I found out there was a special on dessert, so I got a delicious piece of buttermilk pie. The food was all great, as was the service. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for barbecue or a hearty meal.

We stopped in at the Highland location and tried 2 of the Combo #2s and wow! The ribs were absolutely fabulous, but the wings somehow managed to be even better. The sides? To die for. Every bite was amazing.
What really made our experience stand out, though, was the service. Our server, Jordan, was excellent. He was super helpful with all our menu questions and handled our family’s complicated ordering like a pro. He made sure every single item came out right which, honestly, was a first for us anywhere. Jordan’s trainer, Brittney, was also awesome and clearly doing a great job. You could tell they both really cared about making our visit great. We’ll definitely be back and we hope we get to sit in Jordan or Brittney’s section again. They made our day!

Had to eat here since my husband’s name is Mark! ❤️ This place did not disappoint- I had the lite portion of brisket with baked beans and my husband had the loaded baked potato with brisket and Mac/cheese. The sweet tea was off the charts and of course Mr. Pibb was a plus too! Both managers visited us while we were there. Service was excellent! Of course, Mark bought a t-shirt. Would love to have Louisville, KT on it since we are from Texas, but at least, we have the memories! Highly recommend!

Carry out. The food is really good. If you get the wings in carry out, the sauce is in separate containers. I can only assume that when you warm them, you pour the glaze over it. Which should work better in an oven, maybe an air fryer. I did not ask, but dipping them worked. And the red potatoes salad, scrumptious!

Excellent BBQ- you can’t go past their honey chicken wings, BBQ corn, beef brisket and caramel & apple sundae. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Highly recommend.
