Best fried pickles and onions you will ever have for sure and the bbq is always good and they got a great selection of sauces. They are a lil pricey though.

Great service. Lots of choice on the menu no matter what you diet (except vegan). Our party of 4 got amazing, BBQ chicken breast, fall-of-the-bone ribs, brisket sandwich, burgoo and fried fish. Sides were green beans, corn muffin, and potato salad.Having Celiac, I was thrilled to find they have a gluten-free/allergen menu. It's just an information chart really, but it's easy to read and very helpful. The waitress said she'd ask the kitchen to change their gloves to avoid cross-contamination. Unfortunately, I got glutened & have been sick for 2 days and missed a day of work.Vegetarian options: Not the best option. The green beans have lots of meat in them. Potato salad has boiled egg in it.I'm sure you could order a salad, baked potato and maybe a steamed vegetable. Check out their menu online ahead of time.Dietary restrictions: Ask for an allergen menu that lists gluten, dairy, wheat and other items. I ordered the rib & chicken combo with green beans and potato salad.The regular menu has an obscure notice box explaining the possibility of gluten cross-contamination. I have Celiac disease & asked the waitress about extra precautions. She said she'd ask the staff to change their gloves & all my items were listed as not containing gluten, wheat or dairy.When our food came out, my dinner was brought out separately, which was great. (There was no Texas toast on top of my plate either.) But, I got glutened anyway. It's hard to know what goes on in the kitchen. Eating out is usually risky so consider that if eating here.The food was well prepared and tasted great.

I ordered my food through uber eats. Got wrong item. Sides were missing and very disappointed. Called restaurant and they immediately blamed the uber driver. Said he took them out. Girl claimed to be manager was very condescending and insensitive. Was quick to point out their bags are not tamper proof sealed (I thought it was mandatory) and it was all Ubers fault. This is bad enough but to ise it as a crutch to blame a driver that I per know and my house is less than 2 minutes from their restaurant... don't pee on my leg and tell me it is raining. I am in wheelchair, have cancer and no longer get to eat out was looking so forward to this meal. I ordered platter so I should have had 2 sides. Said I had to call uber (you can't). Reported problem in uber. Got $4 refund. Side was more expensive than that. Sad thing is I had someone here that could have driven up to get my correct order. All I wanted to do was have a good meal. But during to the rudeness and unwillingness of this manager my meal was ruined. It went in the toilet I couldn't keep it down. Thank you for ruining a disabled cancer patient's day. I want everyone to see you don't seal your meals (unsafe practice) so you vanish blame the uber driver for your lack of attention to detail and accuracy of your order. I will be calling corporate office on this one. Inexcusable!!!

I can't describe the amazingness of the food. Get the #1 platter, you won't be disappointed. The wierd honey wings were incredible. I'm not big into wings. I'd make the drive here just for those. Pork was great. We liked our ribs, they fell off the bone. I tried an upgraded corn which wasn't healthy at all but I would die happy... ?Kid friendly menus and crayons. Love it.

Update 09/2023 For some reason, an order of fries has become really skimpy, and usually cold. 90% of the time we have to ask for some fresh, hot fries. I'm taking back a star since this has happened too often.Always good. The hard part is choosing what I want. I like almost everything on the menu. They have really good salads and sides. The burgoo is worth a trip by itself. The meat is good, but I would prefer a bit more smoke in it.Vegetarian options: They have a grilled vegi salad, a black bean burger and some of their sides don't have meat.

AHHHHMAZING!!Stopped in for lunch. Our visit was great. The food was fresh and perfectly prepared. We highly recommend the Fried Chicken Sandwich with Honey wing sauce. Puts chickfila, zaxbys, and Popeyes to shame. The pulled chicken was moist and tender. Service staff (Brittany) was accommodating and attentive. The manager even made old school visits through the dining room. In this time of inflation, the pricing was less than we would normally pay for a quality meal like this. This just became a staple for our weekday lunches. Great Job Mark's, see tou again soon.
