This is the most wonderful joint in town! We are from iowa and will be revisiting Martins everytime we are in town. Great service , great portions, great place. Highly recommend.

Burnt fries watery barbecue First and last

We visited on a Saturday afternoon. We had hamburgers. They were very tasty but what impressed me were the young adults that provided us excellent service. They were pleasant and prompt. And everyone had a smile.

Their house sauce is very good. Fries are good. The baked beans don’t know what they want to be, they’re not sweet or spicy, they have a jalapeño flavor, it was a big turnoff for my crew. Mac and cheese was good. Service was good, if not a bit cold. A neat place and vibe. Their hand breaded chicken tenders are the show, better than the pulled pork or chicken.

Love this place. Great location. Great decor. Great hickory smoked hog. Get burgoo as a side. I live in Texas, and you know we're pretty proud of our bbq; but I don't get whole hog cooking out here unless I do one myself. Not our thing. I can't resist going here and keep their seasoning readily available. Marvelous staff and quality bbq. Neat smoker setup that you can visibly see.

Food was good. Loved the pulled pork sandwich and the baked beans, but my husband got brisket and it was extremely dry. Love that the smoker is right on the back deck, but without any windows open, that area is impossible to sit in because of all the smoke. Would be great to open the windows and allow for more seating. We came during lunch, maybe this is different during dinner but on a Saturday at lunch, there wasn’t much seating inside or out with this area un-sortable.

Dietary restrictions: Love a place with an actual detailed allergen menu online. I have a dairy allergy and they were very accommodating!

I'm not a barbecue guy but I gotta say that Martin's turned that attitude around really quick. I love the decor and the fact that they have a deck that's half open and half screened in giving you the choice to sit on either side you like. The barbecue was amazing, hands down the best I've ever had, I honestly can't wait to come back - I had the brisket burger and Mac and cheese and it was immaculate. Highly recommend.

Martin's is absolutely amazing! BBQ done right! I smoke foods a lot. Love it! When I just want some good smoked BBQ and do t feel like doing it. Martin's is the easy choice. The half chicken dinner is some of the best I've had and that whole hog pork. Mmmm mmm !!

Kid-friendliness: All kinds of nostalgia on the wall. But from everything I saw it is all kid friendly. Though that is totally up to you, as we all define kid friendly differently.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yep. Several doors that are accessible without stairs and plenty of room.

First I’ll say this was the worst experience ever! Service was terrible food was terrible ! Ordered the pulled pork nachos and this is what I received! I was blown away my bill was over $40 for 2 smoked sausages a baked bean a slaw and these chips with a few peppers and .05 of an oz of pork no bbq sauce just some watery sauce In a cup that tasted like vinegar. Such a shame to waste food but we couldn’t eat it absolutely disgusting!

We were in town for a soccer game and decided to give this place a try. The food was great. Had a wonderful smoke bologna sandwich. There were a lot of seating options. We had a seat on the patio.
