We had a wonderful Valentine’s Day brunch at Mesh! We made a reservation a couple days ahead with no issues. Service was excellent and food was amazing. Mesh has become one of my favorite places to dine in Louisville.
Overall our experience was very average. Service was not great and they were out of many items because of Valentine’s Day. Our steaks could have been seasoned more but the mashed potatoes were very good. In the main dining area it felt very crowded being seated within a couple feet of another table making it feel less private. That said, the drinks were great and parking was ample.
This was our first time dining at Mesh but I’m sure it won’t be our last. Our server, Hannah, took excellent care of us. The employees actually seemed to enjoy being there! Adam, the assistant mgr, noticed my husband had gotten sauce on his shirt and immediately brought over soda water to help remedy the situation. That was above and beyond and such a classy thing to do. We had calamari for a starter and entrees included shrimp and grits, scallops and crème brûlée cheesecake....
