Having Lauren help coordinate all the other vendors in addition to catering was an absolute dream. She was so great to work with and took all the stress out of the day. And the food! Especially the hors d'oeuvres were divine!

They catered our 50th Anniversary. Everything was great. Lauren before the event and DeDe during the event saw to every detail.

I should have been embarrassed to ask if there was any possibility I could hire Michaelis Events for help throwing a wedding together with two weeks’ notice. That’s not how I normally plan things! But Lauren Brown graciously heard me out—and my reasons for wanting/needing to “throw something together”— and agreed to take charge, while I dealt with multiple pressing family matters.

Not only did she just “take charge” but she gave me the wedding I had envisioned, but just did not have the luxury of time to plan. We had just lost a family member to a long illness in late April, among several other life milestones, including a cross-country move 6 weeks prior to suddenly deciding to have this event.

The Shrewsbury Windle House in historic Madison, Indiana was where we wanted to say ‘I do’ and to celebrate, and it was available only one day which worked for us and other family members for the next 6 months.

Lauren and her team did a phenomenal job pulling it off with perfection! The cuisine was top notch, the flowers exquisite and exactly what I wanted, the table and other decor was exactly the vision I described to her which complemented the old vibe of the house. But most importantly, she literally gave me the gift of not having to worry about a single thing. I actually got to enjoy the lead up and the day—completely.

I used to throw a lot of small, medium and large scale events in both Washington DC and Newport Beach California. Everything from large corporate gatherings to very formal dinner parties with former vice-presidents and top authors and other dignitaries. I knew the minute I met Lauren that she was a true professional who understood how to make my vision reality – – even in two weeks! My new husband and I intend to continue charitable and personal entertaining and she is now my go-to event planner! I clicked with her and her team instantly. We could not be more pleased to recommend them!

The team at Michaelis was a pleasure to work with! They were quick to communicate and accomplished exactly what we had in mind. Would definitely work with them in the future!

Michaelis Events and Catering made our wedding dreams come true! Lauren didn’t batt an eye at some of our less conventional requests (tequila pickle shots anyone?). Her team was effective yet unobtrusive from set up to tear down. I can’t imagine what the day would have been like without her day of coordinating! All around a lovely experience and I would work with them again and again.

Lauren and her team were great! Their food was fresh and delicious for our business dinner! They were able to make a quick change for us while on-site to speedup and serve faster than the agreed upon timeline. They were fantastic to work with.

I recently coordinated an event for active duty military in the Louisville metro area. Michaelis Catering had exceptionally professional staff and I received numerous compliments on the quality of the food. Anyone should strongly consider them for their next event!

I used Michaelis to cater and bar tend at my wedding. I spoke with Lauren throughout my planning period. She was helpful in providing answers to all the questions I had. She was polite and responsive. Day of my event, the staff showed up at the arranged time and quickly went to work putting the linens on so we could finish our decorations. Candace, Norman, Herbert and Ella were the staff at my event. All of them were very polite and helpful. Candace even helped out on some items not included in my contract. Norman was a great bar tender, following my signature cocktails, keeping the bar orderly and drinks flowing through the night. We did a host provided bar, so Norman didn't know what he was working with until we spoke day of. The food was good, the chicken was slightly dry, but I kind of expect quality to suffer some with a buffet. Dinner went smoothly and staff was quick to remove dirty plates and empty drinks. The staff was quick to cut the cake and put away leftovers for us to take home. I would look into using Michaelis again for any larger event I may have!

We used them for a Corporate Recognition Dinner at the Louisville Slugger Museum and the food and decor were amazing! The planning process was a breeze and the staff and service were top notch. Highly recommend.

Please forgive the tardiness of this message. I can't believe it's been almost a week since Annie and Tyler's wedding day. We have been in Georgia this week and things have been a little hectic.I want to thank you and your entire team for everything you all did to make Annie and Tyler's wedding and reception so special. From the flowers to the dinner and fabulous wedding cake, you covered every detail. Annie said early on that she thought you understood their vision and she was right. Thank you for being so easy to work with.I thought you were great during all the planning and then we were blown away by the service we received at the reception. Annie and Tyler were so excited at their "first look" of the Barrel Room. And when my husband looked at me as all your servers came out with the dinner plates, he had he biggest smile. He knew we were in good hands.We had never been to The Pointe before we started planning Annie's wedding and were not familiar with Michaelis Events, but now we are huge fans!Thanks again for handling all our requests and for sending off the new Mr. and Mrs. Fraser with the best possible celebration.

Michaelis catered our special event for 40 people, and their service was outstanding! Staff were all professional, appropriately friendly, and attentive but not intrusive. They arrived and set up on time; served hot, delicious food in two locations, and cleaned up efficiently. Highly recommend.

We had such a wonderful experience with our daughter's wedding, using Michaelis as our caterer! The coordinator, Crystal Sprouse, was absolutely wonderful! She and her team prepared and served a wonderful and delicious meal, and helped us in a variety of ways before, during, and afterwards. We couldn't have asked for the meal to go any more smoothly!Going above and beyond, Crystal stayed with us through our clean-up time. She helped us pack up all our items, sweep up flowers, and even helped carry items out to our cars! All of that was out of the goodness of her heart! It wasn't her job, but she truly wanted to help! Michaelis Events - you have a truly valuable resource in your company with Crystal! I hope you know what a true gem she really is!This was our youngest, so we are through with wedding planning! Haha! However, if we ever need a caterer for a large group event again, we will once again be calling Michaelis! Plus, we will insist that Crystal is our coordinator! That's a promise!!

Top notch staff, delicious food and unmatched service. I am an event planner and have used Michaelis Events and Catering for luncheons and receptions. Guests always leave happy and raving about the food! I would highly recommend.
