We had an excellent time. Touring with the Master distiller and tasting delicious bourbons and rye.

Bourbon is all about the taste. But it’s also about the story behind what makes the taste. And that’s specially true with Michter’s Distillery’s bourbons. We visited Michter’s new facility in Louisville, KY on a bright day in May expecting a tour of the building and a taste of their products. Of course I’d sampled their Michter’s Small Batch US*1 Bourbon and Rye on a few occasions, so wasn’t expecting many surprises. I was terribly wrong in my assumptions.
Was told firm 8am appointment, and that's when they open so I made sure to be on time. First truck there, wasnt in a door until 8:20, didnt get started on until 8:45. Door near the docks was locked with this sign on it, was no option for shipping and receiving. Was also no sign saying where drivers are supposed to enter. Would be a good place is only a few adjustments were made
Awesome place have not been able to do the tour yet. But the gift shop is great and they don't badger you about how many bottles you buy, i was able to get some for gifts. And they personalize the labels for FREE YES FREE. Can't wait to take a tour.. Highly recommend

There is no tour, no gift shop, no bourbon trail stamp here. Offices only.
This Michters location is not open to the public for tours or tastings. They are building out a tourist center in downtown Louisville, however.
