Best fish ever and plenty of it.

A local's place. Laid back atmosphere-shorts and T-shirts. Mike Linnig's serves wonderful fish sandwiches, dinners, assorted side items, and drinks-soft and beer. Service is fairly quick; you order, sit down, and listen to be called by name. Portion size is outrageous. In fact, I typically order one fish sandwich plus extra bread and onion rings for my wife and I to split, and it's more than plenty. Delicious taste. A stroll along the Ohio River bank is a bonus. Parking can be tough on busy nights bc this place draws a huge crowd at times. Overall, ML's is outstanding.

I been going at least once a year since I was a kid. The place was definitely better back then. Today, you stand outside in line to order (rain or shine). Customers look at their receipt and instantly lose their smile at the outrageous prices. They yell your order "is on deck" (ready) through a PA bullhorn and YOU got to go into the bar to pick it up. The food isn't all that good anymore. 2 slices of bread are placed under your fish making them soggy
(it's a joke - on you) Cole slaw is in a small plastic shot cup that's ground real fine and gritty that's full of horse radish, the fries are cheap crinkle fries. You can have all the ketchup you want but God forbid shrimp cocktail and tarter sauce (ask for any and they charge 50 cent extra for a plastic shot cup with a small squirt). The past few years, prices have just skyrocketed. I now go to Moby Dicks or Long John Silvers and get a meal a lot less without a hassle. It's a shame it's running on out of towners, car shows, and bands if for nothing who come to drink, but even the beer prices are outragous!

For the first time, my fish tasted old and all of our food was barely warm.

At one time the best fish in Louisville. Now they are living in reputation. The fish was horrible and a box of onion rings with no flavor at all
