Fantastic food and service.
Clean, friendly staff. Food always good at moby. I like this spot more one in middletown. Can't go wrong her and no matter what u get. Ik alot ppl think its bad or not that good but I like it alot and does nt cost alot, fair pricing
The rating is low because I came for the food. Portion of fish was toddler size at best. The ‘Shrimp’ is basically deep fried breading. .01% shrimp inside. Poor excuse for a fishery restaurant LOADS OF FRENCH FRIES 🍟 to make up for the lack of actual seafood being served. $$ not worth it!!
Management and staff are always great, the food is hot and fresh and it’s always clean😊
It was great. The food was really fresh and hot and delicious
To be fair, I did not eat at this Moby Dick location because when I walked in the restaurant at 6:50 p.m., they close at 8:00 p.m., all of the abundant dining area seating was closed off with a note explaining, dining room closed carryout only. A restaurant that offers dine-in should not close off their eating/dining area unless there is some mechanical or physical necessity, which did not appear to be the case in this instance.
I got the fish dinner. For the price, I expected it to be fresh and flavorful. It was the most bland fish meal I've ever had. The fries were undercooked frozen crinkle cuts, and the fish while hot, had zero flavor. The one hushpuppy that came with the meal wasn't bad, but wasn't great either.
The service was great, they were quick and really nice. But at $16.35 for a 2pc fish dinner, I won't be back.
This Moby Dick has started cutting their fish filets in half. So if you order a box for two that includes four filets, it is actually two filets cut in half. I will NEVER visit these thieves again, and I really hope the greed puts them out of business.

No one stop answer the phone and the pick up option is not available ringgit, trying to place an order!!!
This location may be Louisville's best kept secret! I visit this restaurant periodically when I'm traveling through this area, and each time the food is always great and the service is so pleasant!
Huge Thank you to the Moby Dick staff here!

First and last time visiting this location. I love Moby Dick from time to time. This was my first bad experience.
Everything tasted super greasy and like the grease was thick. The onion rings were cut thick for some reason too. Everything was completely flavorless and too greasy to eat. I threw most of it away and got in bed hungry unfortunately. Never again! Oh and the onion rings were $8 !? Wth, that's crazy

They changed the recipe for the tartar sauce a while ago and now it tastes awful. Seriously hurts the overall enjoyment of the food. Fish is usually quite good, but the sides fluctuate in quality.

I stopped to get a to go order. I ordered a Whale of a Sandwich and an order of fries. The last time there I ordereda First Mate meal and got a piece of fish that was so small I used i slice of bread cut in half for my sandwich. So I had seen other customers with the huge pieces of fish with their Whale sandwich so I thought I will get that and have enough fish for 2 sandwiches. Nope. I still got 2 teenie tiny pieces of fish. But my biggest thing was this. The gentlemen in front of me got his sandwich and felt the bag. He said he wanted a fresh piece fo fish cooked not something that had been sitting under the heat lamp. So they took it back, told the line cook the problem. He presented another sandwich for the man. The man said, this is not fresh. Did you give me the same piece of fish back? He gave the sandwich back to them and said I want a fresh piece of fish cooked. The girl at the register said and I quote " Sir, do you want your money back or you want the sandwich because he is not going to cook you a fresh piece of fish" The man left. I would have gotten a manager and they would have seen a crazy lady appear. But from what I see the Manager is the line cook and he obviously doesnt care. My fish that I got today, dried out and hard which means it was already cooked, sitting under the heat lamp and it was just dropped into the fryer again to reheat it. Not to mention the portions are so small. I paid $16 for 2 teenie pieces of fish and fries that were also reheated in the fryer. I will not go back as this is my 3rd horrible experience there and the last one was a few weeks ago, never have heard back from anyone about it after my very lengthy complaint. Yep 3 strikes and you are out. I can get better, bigger and cheaper fish elsewhere.
