This was my first visit ever and honestly the fish was rather bland. I prefer the taste of Captain D's. I ordered fish sandwich, which is two giant pieces of fish, french fries, one hush puppy, and 2 pieces of white bread for $15.79. I thought it was overpriced and that did include a drink. Service was fast and food was hot.

On 1/13/24 I went to the store at 11210 Preston Hgwy Louisville KY. I ordered 1st mate sand on rye, 1st mate sand meal on rye and small onion ring $20.96. I received a 1st mate sand on white bread, 1st mate meal on white bread w/fries which were COLD & lg coke. NO ONION RINGS. I had to go back in the store for Onion Rings. Why can't people make sure an order is correct before you leave the drive thru. I spent $20.96 for an order that was not CORRECT and not HOT. Shame. Spent almost $50. They forgot one of my sandwiches. Had to go back. Had asked for extra sauce, person taking our order said nothing about paying extra for it. But when I went back for the food I paid for the guy with the beard has the nerve to rudely let me know extra sauce costs extra. I'll take a freebie for your mistake tonight bud.Get home, clams are burnt. Fish is barely done but sopping in grease along with the fries. Thought this place has gotten better. Won't be back. Especially if the beard dude is working. He needs lessons in customer service. They also need someone who knows how to cook.

10/25/2023...Ordered 2 fish sandwich combos...the fries were hard as a rock and the bread was too soggy to even eat due to grease. The paper bag they used to hold the meal was covered in grease and ripped apart without much help. This place use to be fantastic, but now will look elsewhere for our fish cravings.
