Food was amazing, our waiter, (K)nox was very energetic and clearly passionate about his work! Party of 8 and we didn't wait long for our food at all. Definitely will be eating here again when back in the area.

I was in Louisville recently visiting family and friends. We all went to MMPB and all thoroughly enjoyed our visit. We actually had two servers, one may have been training, and they were both pleasant and efficient. The dining room was busy and crowded but not raucous or chaotic. Typical busy BBQ joint atmosphere. We got a variety of items but I got my go-to pulled pork with cheesy corn and baked beans. I liked all of it, first of all. I found the pulled pork very tasty with a savory seasoning I don’t get where I usually go for BBQ here in FL. A bit different but still tasted good. The sides were also generous and good. Had a taste of brisket and tater salad from the others snd I liked them both a great deal as well. Overall I really liked my visit and will definitely stop in when I make it up again.

Awesome first time experience. Damon was our server and was totally helpful and sure to make our visit memorable. We had a hard time deciding what to get everything looked delicious. Damon gave us the scoop on everything.Ordered a sample of things for the table. Highly recommend the wings.. they’re 🔥 but honestly everything we had was amazing. Will definitely be returning very soon!

Food and staff are amazing!!! My favorite place in Louisville!!!

Food was tepid, burnt ends were cubed brisket not burnt ends, tough and tasteless, corn bread was cold, Mac-cheese was cold, the best side was the canned baked beans. Drinks seemed watered down, understaffed.

I usually get the brisket sliders, and they are good when done right. But lately they have been inconsistent. Sometimes the brisket is dry, and the buns can be very dry, literally breaking apart in your hands. I don’t care for them like this. Cannot recommend anymore do to the inconsistent quality.
