Best vegan food in Louisville. I am late to learning about Morels Cafe but I will definitely be a regular now. The BBQ meal is amazing everything was delicious and ready to eat. Everything from the pulled bbq to the buffalo egg rolls was a win! Service was prompt, welcoming, and COVID-19 compliant.

I loved this restaurant before they closed before and I'm now a big fan of their BBQ venture. We got both entrees and two sides, even the non vegan thought the food was great. Can't wait to see what they do next!Online ordering was easy, pickup was prompt.

Food was incredible! The BBQ was smokey and a bit sweet with a few crunchy burnt tips. Brat was delicious and the peppers and onions had a great crunch. All of the sides complemented the BBQ well. The s'mores cookie was a tasty finisher.

My fiancé and I decided to try out the new BBQ “pulled pork” last night. We loved it so much! The flavors and texture! Absolutely spectacular. We’ll be getting this a lot in the future. I was excited to see baked beans on the menu and boy did that not disappoint. Smoky, not too sweet, delicious. The Mac and cheese was perfect too. I’m looking forward to trying all the sides but I will never NOT get the beans.

Stopped by to pick up some dinner in Louisville. Nice spot with plenty of stuff to walk around and see in the area. The place was pretty packed walking in, which is always a good sign! We ordered the Buffalo Chicken Ranch Fries to go. The order came out pretty fast and there was still stools to sit and wait at. The waffle fries were fried nice and the sauce was good. It was a little heavy but it was still dope. They had some desserts in the display case and other loaded french fry options. The vibe in the restaurant was chill and the place looked clean.

One of my FAVORITE vegan establishments. I'm so thankful for this restaurant. I feel like it has opened many doors for other vegan places to open up, and opened my people's eye to the fact that just because it's vegan, doesn't mean it can't be amazing comfort food. There isn't anything on the menu that I wouldn't recommend. My absolute favorite meal to order is the diner burger with either mac n cheese, or potato salad. Some of the best potato salad I've ever had too! There are plenty of different options to choose from, as well as a deli case and many take-home items like pizza! I love that there is also a little store where I can pick up some vegan essentials like nooch, marshmallows, alfredo sauce, etc! There's also an amazing baker who works there (@sugarhighlouisville) and if you go in at the right time, you can grab some of her amazing cakes, muffins, pop tarts, and many other little things! I love this place! (the menu pictured is not the current menu, as it's ever changing, just wanted to give an idea of what's offered!)

This place is cute and cozy. Staff is AMAZING! The food....OMG was better than I could've ever imagined. Im new to the Vegan lifestyle and this place couldn't have been a better option. It was an awesome experience and the food was great bar none! I will definitely return.
This place is amazing!! I got the Chick-Faux-Le and it was so good! The staff is friendly and the customers are all really sweet as well. Had great talks about where different people were at with their vegan journey. Even met some people who aren't vegan just love the food! Definitely go check it out!;

Was my first time at Morels. Have heard nothing but great things about the place and wanted to come check it out myself before they closed. I had the chicken sandwich but was not informed that it was made out of a cashew-based breading. I am severely allergic to all tree nuts - so you can imagine how that went... I called back and explained my situation and instead of receiving my money back, instead I was given a very obscure, wishy-washy apology. Honestly just a very unfortunate series of events.
