Four years later and we still are madly in love with North of Bourbon! The food is consistent and the menu continues to elevate its offerings! The drinks are fantastic and the staff makes everyone that enters the restaurant is made to truly feel like family! North of Bourbon is a southern gem that never disappoints!
North of Bourbon is our favorite restaurant in the city. The food is always incredible, with amazing flavors and unique textures. You can tell that a lot of thought and careful preparation goes into each dish. Great drink offerings, especially if you're a bourbon lover. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. The restaurant is small, but it's very well kept and the bar is beautiful.
My birthday dinner was perfect. Our party of 6 shared 3 appetizers (pork boudin balls were the highlight), 3 entrees (fried chicken gumbo and catfish nuggets were out of this world), and 2 side items (go for the collard greens). Service was great and we were not rushed. Food arrived as it was ready, which made for fun sampling.
