Food is good, atmosphere is loud and cramped. Service not the best. They could definitely be more friendly.

I love the hibachi meals except for the broccoli. There's way too much stem left on each piece. Seriously, no one wants 3 inches of stem.

The food was below average. Even worse the people there would argue when I had complained about half the cooked chicken. Do you really think a customer would complain about the food, stopping their dinner for nothing? Anyway, I have learnt my lesson - only have Japanese food from an authentic place.

Mt. Fuji has become one of our go-to places for dinner. The food is always fresh and flavorful, and the staff are very nice and generous

You can tell they really care, the sushi is always spot-on, and the hibachi meals are delicious and filling. It’s a good spot where we always feel comfortable.

I recommend the chicken hibachi, it’s so cheap compared to other places only 11.99 on the menu. Make sure to ask for their yum yum sauce it’s soooooo good. The guy up front was very helpful and gracious pointing at all the best things on the menu.

If you're in Louisville and love good Japanese food, you won’t be disappointed here.

I came here for dinner for the family ordered multiple meals when I got to my dinner I asked extra steak and if they could put it in a separate container the manager JAMES was very rude saying they won’t put the steak in the container separately but will add it in my food how unprofessional when I’m paying never again they need better management

This place used to be good. And I loved going to eat here when I attended school at U of L. I still live in the neighborhood, and the last two times I ordered, the sushi did not taste or look fresh. The seaweed salad was just okay. Gelatinous and brown would describe the food I was served recently. Sorry mt. Fuji folks.

So honestly I do like their Hibachi but 1 big thing I seen today was cross contamination. The guy on the grill was using the same spatulas to cook everything. Touching raw seafood and steak then turning around and touching cooked vegetables is food poisoning waiting to happen or salmonella. Now mind you I was not getting any meat in my hibachi just vegetables and rice and your touching RAW steak before getting ready to pick up my vegetables to plate them! I'm glad I was paying attention because that is not okay at all! And I'm really surprised nobody has gotten sick yet! But I just could not do it after seeing that! And I hope they figure out a way to split the 2 cause 1 day someone will get sick!

This is my second time. Great place for sushi and bubble tea! The sushi rolls are fresh and tasty. I really love their original bubble tea — the flavor hits right from the first sip.

Chicken as dry as your grandma’s elbows. The noodles are boxed linguine noodles. Charging $15 for this should be a crime

Omg, this food was phenomenal and worth while. We asked our Uber driver for a recommendation on the best local restaurant to try, while in town. Man, was not joking. The chicken was so delicious and the serving size is VERY generous. I had the Hib Chicken and hubby had the Veg. Carmel Ginger Chicken. Both are amazing and so fresh! Definitely a 5+star restaurant.
