Had reservations at 7:00 pm for fiancé's birthday. Short wait before we got seated but received a nice table upstairs. I had put on the OpenTable reservation we are celebrating a birthday and was provided a card when we were seated but that was it. Waitress even said happy birthday when she took our orders. Other tables got cake and song the whole deal. We felt like the whole dinner was rushed and didn't receive anything. Left disappointed even after an almost $100 bill for 2.

Excellent food. Really good service. Cool atmosphere. The only complaint I have is that the music is a tiny bit too loud for me. Not uncomfortable but it does make conversation a little challenging for older patrons. If you like Cuban food, you won't be disappointed!

First time at this restaurant. Extremely pleasant staff and good service. Overall food was good with large portions enough for sharing. Complimentary parking in ramp directly adjacent was convenient.

Love this place. Food and service is 100% spot on every time. This time we had reservations at 8:15 pm on a Saturday and it was very busy and a little loud but never enough that we won't be back.

La Bodeguita is SUCH a treasure. This was our second time in and of course, it was phenomenal. The atmosphere is so fun, but that's not even the best part. A lot of restaurants these days put a lot into the look & feel, but then food or service falls flat — not La Bodeguita. The service is fantastic (thank you Leandro for the hospitality) and the food is amazing. Get the plantain crusted mahi mahi... you will not be disappointed. Also, the original mojito is a must. Already can't wait to come back.

We had reservations for over a week, yet we were put out back in a cold room with hard chairs. It was loud and very cold. We ordered an appetizer that was delicious. Then my husband and I split the pollo con arroz and the chunks of chicken were grisley and chewy. Yuck!

The food & service was excellent. The presentation of the chocolate “cigar” was impressive. The only drawback was that the music was just a little too loud for conversation.

Absolutely delicious. Ordered the braised short ribs.... Was shocked when they came to table and opened a can... But... It's special and absolutely delicious!!! Great drinks, great food, great service. Will def come back when I'm the area!

The reservation system should ask if you can walk a flight of stairs. We had to wait about 20 minutes past our reservation due to the fact we had my elderly mother with us and needed the main floor. Food came out slow. Food was excellent however. My son was served a Pepsi in a dirty glass. We still loved our lunch.

Beautiful, lively restaurant. Top notch service. Great food and cocktails. The Arroz con Pollo Chorrera was our favorite dish of the evening. One thing took away from our experience. It was a very cold night and we were sat in the first room to the right in a place where the cold drafts hit us every time the front door opened (which was a lot). It was very uncomfortable so I would recommend asking for a table away from the front door if possible when the weather is frigid.

The food was presented and tasted amazing. Best Cuban food in Louisville. The service was excellent and the ambiance made me fell like I was in 1950's Havana. It is on the pricy side, but well worth what you get in return.

Food and Drinks were excellent service was a little slow due to waiters talking amongst themselves and not paying attention but all in all David did fine once I had to get up to get his attention.

Love this place. We are vegetarian and had the veggie empanadas for an appetizer and the veggie tamales for main dish. Both absolutely outstanding. The mojitos are great with the sugar cane in them and the chocolate cigar dessert was also excellent.

The food was delicious, my husband chose some delicious ropa vieja that I highly recommend. I chose a mahi mahi with corn that was on the special Valentine's Day menu it seemed to me that the price was excessive to only come the fish with corn but I can't deny that it was good. The service took a long time to ask us what we were going to order but it's understandable being Valentine's Day. What I hate was the waitress at the end of the dinner demanding the tip, I don't know if others thought like me but for me the tip is earned with the good service is not demanded. I love the place. I'll go again I just hope having another person attending me
