Bar service was amazing.Juan (the bartender) drinks were amazing and was over all phenomenal. All the food was delicious EXCEPT the jajangmyun. The shrimp dumplings, tuna tartar, steak and eggs and bulgogi Benedict, ALLL delicious!! The jajangmyun was not flavored correctly, it tasted like little to nothing. The cucumber garnishes within the meal had more flavor than the dish itself. But overall really good place, nice vibes.

I’m Korean and I’m picky. This bbq place was better than bbq places in NJ. I ordered Deung Shim and it was so flavorful and tender. All the banchan was top quality. So pleasantly surprised. Not to mention everyone we interacted with was beyond friendly and helpful. There’s bbq table seating option as well as regular table, and you can have the meat cooked in the kitchen if you want but as a Korean that destroys the purpose and taste of a true Korean bbq. Overall I’d recommend without reservations.

Food was ok. I had the skirt steak, asked for it to be rare, it was well done. My husband had the wings and they were good. We split the beef tartar and it was ok.. Overall not impressed

TLDR don’t waste your money.

If you were looking for authenticity, don’t come here. But I suppose the “fusion” should be a clue.

If you were looking for good food, this is not a good place to go.

My 4 year old who loves all food blatantly expressed his disappointment.

We came for brunch, so I can’t speak to dinner. The server took down my order and even repeated it back to me, but still there was one item missing on the final spread and the final bill. I didn’t notice until the end because I was so distracted by the bad food that did show up. I’m sure the server would have corrected it had I brought it up, but I didn’t feel like spending more money on more disappointment.

The mandu was over-fried and looked like two more seconds in the fryer would have turned it blackened.

The noodles for the jjajangmyun were actually undercooked and stuck together in a congealed mess.

The hotteok were really just lightly filled doughnuts flattened and deep fried. In my mind fusion should represent both sources of culture being fused. This was 99% American and only 1% Korean by appearance and name only.

The braised beef bun were passable. But this style of bun is more Chinese than Korean.

The top of the red bean steamed buns were opaque and flattened instead of being fluffy white (the bottoms were fluffy). This happens when the wrap is too thin in one area or when water drips onto the top of the buns. Perhaps that was the intent but in my mind it really decreases the presentability and the palatability.

We spent almost $100 on this. And immediately went to the nearest McDonald’s to rescue our stomachs.

The Korean ajumma sitting two tables down accompanying a white man was also clearly turning up her nose at the noodles she ordered. When the Asians don’t go to an Asian restaurant, you know it ain’t great. I know she won’t be coming back either.

Atmosphere was fine. Playing American pop music and nice soft cloth napkins.

Overall the Korean food is mid. I really wanted to like it bc I liked Edward Lee on Culinary Class Wars. Tteokbeoki was especially bad - some kind of fusion with dill and it was overly salty and offputting. It’s a nice space but you can literally go anywhere else in Louisville for better Korean food.

Came here after seeing Chef Edward Lee on Culinary Class Wars! Our server was fantastic and incredibly helpful with the menu. The food was flavorful and the atmosphere was nice. It does feel a bit overpriced for what you get. Drinks were only OK. It was a nice experience and if you are willing to pay I think you would enjoy it!

I saw some reviews mentioning that the waitstaff were rude, but my experience was actually very positive. Our waitress was polite and friendly. The service was definitely 10/10.

The banchan was fairly typical for a Korean restaurant. We received four small side dishes, which were just okay. I was expecting crunchy kimchi, but it was a bit too watery. The salad was actually the best part of the set.

The ribeye was flavorful, though slightly overcooked. It came out almost well done, and no one asked how I’d like it prepared. I’m guessing well done is their default.

I know the owner is Korean, but in my opinion, this place doesn’t quite feel like a Korean steakhouse. It’s more like an American steakhouse with few Korean-inspired flavors.

To be honest, I had high expectations because of the Netflix show. It was good, but not amazing. I’d give it a solid 7 out of 10.

We had such wonderful food and a fun night at Nami! We had a large party celebrating a friend and our waitress was so attentive and did such a great job. Everyone loved the different appetizers and entrees. I can’t wait to go back!
Fun tip- book the karaoke room for some after dinner fun with your friends! It was a blast.

The food was delicious, and had authentic Korean flavors with an American twist. My husband said the salad dressing reminded him of his mom’s cooking, and the bulgogi was so delicious our toddler refused to swallow it for over 1.5 hours 🤣 Overall an amazing experience! My favorite dish was the Duck Spring rolls by far.

This was a really interesting restaurant to visit–at first I thought I was in the wrong place because the area was so quiet and it didn’t seem like a fit with all the new builds in the area, but there it was. I had heard about it on a Korean cooking competition show, and I have to say, after trying it out, it is deservedly famous. The waiter’s recommendation of the ramen noodles was excellent, and I was particularly impressed with the cleanliness of the bathroom–it was noticeably immaculate.
