It’s always busy but that’s because it is great :)
That being said there is truly almost never an available place to sit, and the line typically runs through the whole restaurant.

This is an incredible stop for breakfast! Best bagel I’ve had in years and I lived in Chicago. Cozy atmosphere, not overwhelming even in a rush.
My coffee was delicious!

Stroll along the Beargrass Creek Trail until you reach its end, where you'll find yourself in a neighborhood harboring this gem of a bakery.
This spot is renowned for serving the city's best breakfast and lunch bagel sandwiches.
While the menu remains consistent, they keep things exciting with seasonal drinks that change with each holiday or season throughout the year.
Be prepared for crowds; space inside is limited, and parking outside can be tight. However, if you manage to swing by, it's an experience worth having!

No prices on the menu in the restaurant is kinda weird. $20 for two meager breakfast sandwiches is kinda weird (and outrageous) too. Also, their espresso machine was down when we went. Place was “meh” all around. Would not recommend

My first take out experience with them was so easy and the food is and always has been incredible, even after sitting in the car for 10 minutes. My husband and I both had the Hammer sandwich (the jalapeño cream cheese is to DIE for). We will definitely be making my this a regular spot for coffee and breakfast.

The best bagels, selection, and coffee you will find in town. Payne Street, formerly Nancy’s Bagel grounds is a local staple and lively just about any hour they are open.

The workers did not know what they were doing, they did not inform me that a menu item did not come on a bagel even after I said I wanted it on a bagel so I did not receive what I wanted. I went up again and ordered something on a bagel and the order was wrong. The coffee is also not good, watery. The bagels themselves are good but I am not sure if they are good enough to bring me back.

I absolutely love bagels. I ordered the Rooney on the Tomato Herb bagel and it was fantastic. It was full of flavor and not too crispy. Their bacon melts in your mouth. I ordered their seasonal apple latte and it also hit the spot. It was the perfect amount of sweet without being too overpowering. I tried my friend's blueberry coffee cake. It was delicious and very soft. It was definitely big enough to split or save for later. The place is spacious and offers many seats to work alone or meet with others. The workers were helpful and friendly. It was pretty busy and we didn't have to wait very long for our orders.
Wheelchair accessibility: I brought my baby in a stroller with no issues. There was a ramp to get in and plenty of space to stroll through.
