Neat Bourbon Bar & Bottle Shop

We found this gem looking for a cigar lounge to relax. OH MY DEAR GOD how is this place not just packed to the gills with people. A large variety and eclectic bourbon. Friendly staff. You can buy hard to find bottles at damn near MSRP. Of this isn't on your list of to see places your missing out. We had a bourbon from 1940 and it was fantastic.

Stopped in for a buddy to buy a bottle of BT. While at the bar sat down next to Amanda, didn’t know she was an off duty bartender, with “the bearded man” behind the bar. I kid you not I got a better bourbon history lesson sitting and talking with her and “the bearded man” than I did going on bourbon tours. Best part is THERE ARE BOTTLES TO TASTE TO GO WITH THE HISTORY LESSON. Might be biased but best way to soak it in if you ask me. Highly recommend this place Amanda and “the bearded man” made this place a have to visit again! Thank you both and look forward to coming back in the future.

Wow what an incredible experience! If you like very good quality bourbon, whiskey and even tequila this is the place you want to go to! Imagine being able to taste Bourbon that dates back to the 1960s. There's a wide variety of old dusties that are absolutely amazing at reasonable prices

“The Daly” says “cigarette” in the ingredients. They gave me a candy cigarette. Unacceptable. Moving forward, please use camel crushes. Or change your menu. False advertising.

Also - the bartenders were amazing. Very friendly and very knowledgeable. And the drinks were delicious! I enjoyed my time and I will definitely be coming back. Thank you!

Best bourbon in Bardstown! What I love is the fact they offer drinks other than bourbon. Made the best dirt martini. The atmosphere is great. They have couches that you can sit on and communicate. The decor is fabulous. The owners are so friendly. Can’t beat it!

This place is a gem in the neighborhood. Seems like it could be stuffy, but inside it is anything but. The service is pretty epic, and down to earth folks behind the bar, like Taylor, make it a definite and necessary stop for anyone taking in the hip places bardstown road has to offer.

What an amazing spot! Gorgeous decor, excellent soundtrack, unique drinks, and (as promised) a giant bourbon wall. A must see, and ask for Taylor! Friendly, knowledgeable, and a fabulous bartender.

I've been to Neat a couple of times. Both times my service was quick and friendly. Unique drink selection for a middleground budget. A great lounging area for a satisfactory classy experience. I will be back again.

What a great experience! I was very impressed by the selection, the interior, the service, and the prices. A bartender recommended a Four Roses from the 1980’s that was outstanding in every way. I also loved to see the bottle from the 1940’s. It made me wish I could buy a shot of it for my late father, who was born in the 1940’s. He would have loved this place. It’s everything that’s great about Louisville and bourbon culture. I will be back soon!
