We loved the nachos appetizer and the burgers and fries were excellent. Our server was nice and timely. The Brussel sprouts were not good. Overall we would definitely come back!
We live in Louisville and we were under the impression that Nic & Norman's would be somewhat touristy - more for out of towners staying downtown. I read other reviews and decided to give it a go. The food was excellent and the service was warm and friendly. It did not feel touristy at all. We had the creole shrimp, Nics Pick burger, the smashburger with chili and fritos, beer and cocktails. All were delicious. We were there on a quiet Sunday afternoon and sat at the bar to watch football. The restrooms were very clean. We were happily surprised and will definitely pop in again.
Everything was delicious. We started with the mozzarella and pickles; and I had to the chopped salad, which was so good. Also enjoyed the blackberry Derby drink (name unsure of) but it was quite tasty as well.
Our waitress definitely made the meal enjoyable! Kiki was so friendly, suggested great food and drinks, and overall made this a great experience. The food was tasty and delicious. The portion sizes were a bit too large for me and my spouse.
went there Saturday about an hour after opening. we got the meatloaf, Greg's pick burger, "cream" style corn and mozzarella bites. The best thing was the mozzarella and burger. the meatloaf over their sauce did taste well together and the "cream" style corn was regular corn with peppers not cream style. on top of that the service was uber slow. took almost 30 minutes to get our check that's too long to wait for a check. 70 bucks down can say will not go again
Great wait staff and service - Philly chees steak appetizer was excellent and covered 4 of us easily. We got 4 different entrees and everyone said they would get same things if came back - we will be back
We had the cherry manhattan and the cardinal mule and we thought both were some of the best created cocktails we had in Louisville. The 3 dips (pimento cheese, hummus, spinach and artichoke) all tasted amazing. The entrees were extremely tasty and service was outstanding. Made for a great date night 😁
Food was amazing, great atmosphere. We were there for a business conference and the restaurant employees were not aware or prepared for a large influx of people but they handled everything extremely professionally. Nikki was our server and she was extremely friendly, Knowledgeable and super professional. Thank you
Great place 10/10 well recommended asap

1. Smelled like old mop water. 2. Struggled to find parking on a freaking weds evening. The hostess even stated that she wasn't sure where people park...which is wild because we watched a group of white men (mind you we are black women) come in and ask where another restaurant was and she had no issue exiting the restaurant to even escort them to it! Wild business.
3. Attitude of staff was so bad that we just decided to leave and go to Pier 17 instead.

Unknowingly, we were walking into the restaurant from the actor of the living dead. The food was excellent, and the service from Z was exceptional and entertaining. Strongly recommended. Although we went there on a Sunday night and the enthusiasm for Bourbon wasn't on my agenda at the time, the bartender fixed me a wonderful Cherry bourbon drink. Great place to have a meal and have a good time. Look forward to going back and seeing Z.
Kiki served us food.
High energy was her mood.
The crab cakes were fire.
The meatloaf was my desire.
I ate with 5 strangers.
None of them were a danger.
I had a good night.
Nic & Norman's was a delight.
Thank y'all for the meal.
Overall it was a deal.

Went for lunch with my coworker, and the food was pretty decent. I got the Philly pita and it was pretty good. I want to go back and get the Mexican burger to see how it is. I think what I lived the most was the server, she was phenomenal, food came out fast and she was just a joy. You could tell how much she appreciated the restaurant (theme being from The Walking Dead) and I loved that. I wish I could remember her name because I would shout her out. Overall great experience!!

We stopped here on a trip through Louisville for our daughter's 21st birthday and the service was amazing. I didn't catch our hostesses name, but Kiki was our waitress and she was amazing. Everything she recommended was delicious. Everyone was so positive and upbeat and just a great all around place!
