It was our bartender's first shift and he did amazing!
We didn't eat.. but having to pay for an order of chips and salsa with the price of the meals seemed silly

The old church is beautiful. They tastefully renovated the space to be functional and elegant. We waited about 10 minutes to even be sat. Multiple employees walked past us before I asked if it was open seating. The hostess eventually came to greet us. We wanted to sit inside to enjoy the atmosphere, but they sat us outside without asking. We didn't mind much because weather was pleasant. Our server was nice and knowledgeable about the menu. She just seemed like she had a lot on her plate. She forgot our appetizer, and only checked on us once after we received our food. The birria tacos were delicious, highly recommend. The sides were underwhelming, however. For $22 a plate you'd expect them to at least use salt in the refried beans. The sides were also cold. We may stop in again if it isn't too busy.

Location and the atmosphere of the building was great. I think the building is so nice but the food kinda lets you down. The service was very spotty seemed like they are short staffed as our server had outside and upstairs table he was tending to as well. The atmosphere creates this huge buildup to be let down by service and food quality. Don't get me wrong the food was good and well seasoned but for half the price I can go to el nopal with some chili seasoning and get the same thing.

Best birria we’ve ever had. “I’ll never forget you, Noche” - my husband as we drove away.
staff was amazing and not a long wait from kitchen to Table.

So beautiful inside, excellent service (shoutout Latisha!) Hands down the BEST food we have had in a long time! I highly suggest the BBQ Nachos and asking for Latisha!

This place is a one of a kind jewel and highly recommended! It is set in an old church and is tastefully decorated around that theme. The food is a level above from “typical Mexican“, with a very nice presentation and a good quality of ingredients. Their margaritas are excellent, even their “House brand“, uses Corazon tequila and is very fresh/well done. Service was attentive and pleasant. Highly recommend this place.

The building itself is a lovely repurposed church with beautiful stained glass windows.
The food is a bit subpar for the prices. If you want traditional Mexican food, this is definitely not the place to go, but it's okay for what it is. I highly recommend the quesadillas.
Alcohol selection is decent, but slightly lacking for a Louisville establishment.
The outdoor seating area is really nice. If you have the opportunity, and the weather allows for it, it's worth asking if you can be seated out there. It's much more peaceful than the indoor seating options.
Being sat in the loft area (indoor 2nd floor balcony) kinda sucks. It's almost impossible to hear people sitting directly across from you, which gets worse if the place is busy, especially if there's also live music. It's also a bit too hot up there during the summer.
If you're seated in the loft area in the evening, beware of the sun blinding you if you're facing the stained glass windows.
They eventually brought 3 fans for the engagement party I attended, but I felt bad for our server. He had to go up and down the staircase the whole time, and he was dripping sweat throughout the evening. He also had a hard time hearing our drink and food orders, which led to some confusion several times (but I don't blame him at all for it, it really is just hard to hear anything.)
Also, for some reason the restaurant uses the loft area as storage for multiple decommissioned church organs, as well as some other equipment, which makes the small space even more crowded. Seems like a strange decision, but it is kind of cool at the same time.

I visited Noche for the first time this past Saturday. The church and the astetics of the building was beautiful. The dining area isn't that big so the tables are close. My husband and I went he ordered the 1/2 Brisket plate and I got the Brisket burrito. The food to me was just OK. The Brisket was tender but didn't taste like it was smoked on a grill. The fat didn't seem to be rendered down. The beans really weren't flavorful, the rice was ok. The menu items arw very pricey. The waitress we had didn't really seem to be attentive to us and the place wasn't crowded when we went. I actually had to wave my hand to get her attention to refill our glasses. I don't think we will be returning but at least we did give it a try.
