North Lime Coffee & Donuts - Old Lou

Had not had the donuts in several years. I was very disappointed. The taste of the donuts have greatly gone down hill. Not at all as good as in previous years. They are not putting enough glaze ir icing on any of the donuts. TOO BAD!!!

Great donuts but website is just awful ! Lexington locations are so much better managed and even their websites are better than the old Lou. What’s the point in having a website if we can’t place orders for gf or speciality donuts on the website ?.

This place has the best donuts in Louisville! If you haven't tried them yet add it to your to do list! You won't be disappointed ?

Very cool building with delicious donuts & coffee. The flavors were fun and fairly priced and it’s obvious how fresh they are. We loved the strawberry glaze and blueberry jam filled!

North Lime - Old Louisville is the highlight of my day every Saturday. The special flavors are always a treat and the coffee is always prepared fresh by friendly staff!

This is just down the street from where I work currently and it frankly takes a lot of will power to not have one of their delicious donuts and coffees every day.

Today I came in and manage to only get a coffee (a Crisa) and I want to thank the barista on duty for their help and patience! I was trying to decide between the Night Owl and the Crisa and they tried to help by asking if I wanted hot or iced. I wasn't particularly cooperative by responding I didn't care. After a little more information I decided on the Crisa because I was intrigued by the concept of two cubano shots with a little milk.

It was delicious. Their espresso is always delicious. I'm usually a drip/pour over drinker, but I love this espresso. Not because it's like drip - it's definitely espresso. It's just *that* good.

Vegetarian options: Their vegan donuts are possibly better than their regular donuts. I will happily order a vegan fruit donut on the days they offer them. Only available a few days a week - check the donut schedule online before going.

Dietary restrictions: They offer dairy milk alternatives and gluten free donuts.

Parking: There's parking behind the building in the big fenced lot. Just go down the side street to the north of the building to enter the lot.

Kid-friendliness: It's a donut shop that serves coffee. They also have milk available. It's not a place to hang but there are kid friendly options on the menu (including plain iced donuts for those currently picky eaters).

Wheelchair accessibility: From the street side you can roll up to their main door - however the door does have a lip to it and can be heavy to open.

Everyone should visit North Lime Coffee & Donuts! The donuts selection is what it should be, nothing pretentious, just the most exceptional donuts. Additionally, they often have gluten free options and speciality flavors. This is really a gem in Louisville.

Great customer service very clean accommodating and the donuts are amazing even the vegan ones are amazing as well I have never been to other locations but this is my favorite coffee and doughnut shop. They know exactly what I want when I come in the door❤️❤️

Decent donuts, terrible service. I work next door so I went in this morning for a donut. Three employees were there at the time - one was taking a phone order while the other two were chatting with one another. I was the only customer at the time but no one acknowledged me at all as I stood at the counter for 10 minutes, waiting to order. I left and I won’t be back.

Kayla provided great customer service, friendly and knowledgeable. My drink tasted amazing.
