- We were first greeted by an announcement that all breakfast items are out of stock. Serious bummer, as we were looking forward to breakfast.- Coffee is over-roasted and tastes burnt and bad. Worst than Starbucks. Seriously poor coffee.- They have a 4-oz macchiato on the menu. I asked if this was the true Italian macchiato (espresso shot and 1oz of foam-style) and was told that it is indeed. Sadly I received a Starbucks-style macchiato. Wrong.- Attendant was completely clueless as to how to make a proper macchiato. Claimed they don't have small cups to make a true macchiato. I suggested they take the macchiato off the menu then, because you do not know how to make it and do not have the right ware to serve it.- Ordered some meat pies to go. Expensive, dry, unremarkable.- This truly was one of the most disappointing coffeehouse experiences ever. I do not understand all the positive reviews.

The best coffee I have had in Louisville. Very smooth and excellent earthy flavor. I will definitely come back the next time I am in

On top of there being great coffees and teas, the savory pies are absolutely fantastic. I think we’ve tried all the flavors and there’s not a bad one. I really enjoy seeing what their seasonal drinks are. The staff is incredibly nice as well, my friends and I feel very welcomed.

Passing through and was looking for a good cup of coffee. Found it! Beautiful shop, nice atmosphere and great service. Love that you can see the coffee roasting room. Had a seasonal white chocolate raspberry. Delicious!

Clean, neat and well designed. Staff were nice and helpful. Food 4 star vice 5 due to limited food menu. Food tasted great, and the dishes and table was clean.

Ntaba continues to serve excellence across their menu! Whether a meat pie (veg options available and delicious) or cafe, Ntaba is where it's at! Not to mention, if you're interested in an African Safari across one of the many and diverse countries... boom through Ntaba! We plan to visit Bornea, Madagascar, Botswana, and in the next two years! Cannot wait to support Ntaba!

I was not able to try them even though the website and the hours posted on the door / holiday hours said they were open, in reality they were not. So I went to McDonald's for my cup of coffee just across the street

Great coffee spot. Friendly and prompt service, chai was great and the scone was fresh and delicious. I’d never had an everything scone before, but highly recommend if they have them when you go in (I think they rotate).

As a coffee snob, this is by far the best roasted African coffee I have ever had. Please try it.

Ntaba is an excellent coffee shop right near the Louisville airport. The staff is friendly and incredibly helpful (Thank you Conor!). The lamb pie was delicious and they had authentic Rooibos tea. I cannot recommend this place enough!

I'm from out of town and it was the closest coffee shop to my hotel. Ordered their seasonal sea salt caramel toffee latte and a blueberry scone. Heavenly. I'll be back to try their meat pies during my stay. UK vibes in Louisville.

Took my son to get coffee and meat pies the day after University of Louisville Band Day. Wonderful experience. He says he will be a regular once he moves here for college.
