What an experience ! We have been to many distilleries in KY… but this truly took the cake ! When above and beyond with the interactions of the Cooper to the history and knowledge shared! Easily top 5 best bourbon tours ! Great exclusive bourbon for Sale as well. Amazing .. it inspired our 8 year old daughter to want to work in the distillery.
We stopped into Old Forester to check out the shop and the bar. We did not get to do a tour due to checking out so many places. They had lots of merchandise but not many bottles you couldn't find at any liquor store. The bar had tons of options. They had lots of bottles you could try that you never see, unless you are paying a ton. I was so happy to try the birthday bourbon. We will have to come back for a tour.
I had the opportunity to attend a single barrel session featuring a single barrel pick that included live music, drinks, and food. OF did a great job hosting the event. I’ve also been on the Goodness Never Varies tour which was an awesome experience. The tour takes you through the entire process finishing with an awesome tasting. Would recommend for any bourbon lover.
