Pizza is amazing!!! So yummy.
The bartender is HORRIBLE. Stood at bar showing pictures to someone and totally ignored me. I had to end up leaving and have someone else get our drinks. She was extremely rude!
When I lived in Louisville I ate here about four times a week for lunch. I was so happy to come back and see Gary and everybody this weekend. Hands down the best pizza joint in America.
We have been to both locations and the food is consistently so good! It’s always nice to get the opportunity to select different slices as opposed to having to get a whole pie.
Tonight our 2.5 year old made her pizza, as kids get to go on Tuesday’s, and she absolutely loved it. The staff was so friendly; the gentleman who seemed like he was the manager was very friendly & helpful to both customers and his young staff - which is so important. Old School N.Y. Pizza is a restaurant that offers delicious pizza at a reasonable price. The staff is friendly and professional, providing excellent service. The restaurant is kept clean, and the pizza is reminiscent of an old-school pizzeria. The crust, toppings, and cheese are all highly praised for their taste and quantity. Ingredients are consistently high-quality, and the 'novelty' slices, including the chicken on the fajita and BBQ slices, are very good. There have been no nasty bits of connective tissue found in any of the chicken so far. The topping distribution and proportions are consistent, making every slice enjoyable. Though it is unclear if it is authentic New York style pizza, it is highly recommended to try it for yourself. The plain cheese slices are also excellent. The price is $4 per slice, reflecting the excellent ingredient quality that has remained unchanged since opening. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible with ADA parking spots and a ramp to the sidewalk. It is advised to tip the staff well, despite some issues with service at the bar.
