Visited Saturday night with a friend. The food was great and the service was very personal. We had the black spaghetti. It was delicious. It is made black with squid ink, served with perfectly cooked scallops. But the Budino for dessert was over the top good. I normally don't eat desserts but Chef Richard came to our table and insisted we try it. Unbelievably great.

This place is fantastic. Not a large menu, those always make me wonder how much of the items a place is able to have fresh, but a delicious menu. The food is delicious. The pasta is fresh and made in house. The prices are great. The atmosphere is wonderful and quiet. The calamari was wonderful as was the spaghetti and the meatballs. I highly recommend it.

A true Italian restaurant. Pasta and sauces all made from scratch. If you are looking for something different, here it is. Food and service were excellent on all three of our visits. As a bonus, you are supporting a local business. Bernie F

The reason for two stars? Our service was good. That's where it ended unfortunately. Our food, and we had a variety of it at our table was overpriced and just not delicious as one would expect. I had a $25 chicken parm and it was just not good. The chicken was pounded to a thin layer of overfried not good chicken "paper" I wouldn't recommend. Our apps were the best thing we ate all night. We had the risotto friend balls. At one point we, party of 7, with 2yelp elites and 3 yelp members working in elite, were alone upstairs. Then another couple came. And then the VIP party of three adult and one child was also brought upstairs. The chef came out at one point went to the VIP table. Greeted them. Made sure their food was acceptable and chatted with them. nEVEr stopped by our table or the other couple. Whatever. He should be glad he didn't stop to check on us. He would've gotten some honest feedback. The salted caramel butterscotch pudding dessert was the best thing we tried all night. Oh and if you're a vegetarian your option is spaghetti. I'm good to find another restaurant with delicious food.

Came in during a weekday with 6 people...service was a wreck....not many customers there at 6:30. No one knew the wine list or what ingredients were in the dishes. We all got different things, but what stood out was that all if our dishes were lukewarm, and no stand outs.I was embarrassed because I had recommended the place to my friends who are seasoned diners. The owner was friendly, but frazzled. My takeaway is that folks that open a restaurant will have a better chance of succeeding with a restaurant/chef background...I haven't seen many that succeed without it. I hope this restaurant comes around as I think it could be a lot better.

Amazing authentic Italian food! Fresh pasta and all fresh, handcrafted food! Great staff and service! Lots of heart and love into every plate! Had a birthday party for my sister-in-law, for 17 people. Passed appetizers, ordered off of the menu! Wonderful food, great service, cool venue for a party!

We've been searching for an authentic lasagna - we didn't find it. Many bottled Bolognese sauces are richer than what's offered here. When the Chef stopped by, we were shocked to hear him proclaim his disdain of the food service industry! Our friend offered an opinion on her entree but the Chef heard not a word. While the service was excellent we won't be back.

Very nice appearance. We were there on a Wednesday night and the whole time there were 2 other tables w patrons.... not a great indication but unfortunately accurate. We were a group of 7 and visiting a lot so we were there for about 2.5hrs. Service was prompt and friendly. However the food...(prices are approx) Start w apps- crostini w goat cheese and fig - delicious but only 4 small pieces for 6 Calamari - greasy but points for tentacles 8 Arancini - generally good but nothing stand out 10 Mains- Pastas were more than aldente - they were crunchy and tasted of uncooked flour Chicken parmigiana was dry and "not good" 20 Scallop pasta - only 3 scallops and was "very spicy but not flavorful" 20 Cannelloni - dry (crumbly not cheesy w an overwhelming flavor of spinach). 18 dollars didn't eat it Only one vegetarian pasta so our vegetarian didn't even eat! Meatballs - were really good. Great flavor and tender Dessert was delicious! A butterscotch caramel creation and shareable due to its richness 8

Very cool space, is the best thing I can say. The service was good but quirky. The menu is kind of limited, only one entree for vegetarians. The food was okay. I had the $32 veal saltamboco. Came on a mound of runny mashed potatoes and sauce. My wife had cannelloni. It was horrible dry and oddly flavored.

Love this restaurant! We came for our anniversary and it didn't disappointed us. Wonderful food and wonderful service . We loved to meet the owners and we were really pleased with the recommendations.

If you're looking for some really good Italian food in the 'Ville this place is IT. The bolognese was by far the best I've had in town. Maybe some of the best I've had from anywhere. Seriously delicious. also the focaccia bread with olive oil they serve when you sit down is super good! Also if you can, sit on the patio upstairs! It's such a sweet spot.

Discovered a great Italian restaurant last evening. Palatucci's at 204 South Spring Street. It's small, the menu is small but all the food is fresh and homemade. Had homemade spaghetti with a tomato sauce that was excellent and only $12! Bernie added some delicious meatballs to his. We'll be regular customers and we highly recommend it!

The food and portion size were very good. Cost I felt was maybe a little more than it should have been. Good experience and good atmosphere as well.

This is probably the best Bolognese pasta I have ever had. Great wine & focaccia bread as a starter. While I couldn't decide between the spaghetti and meatballs (meatballs optional as a side to their spaghetti dish) or the bolognese --I chose the bolognese. I'm so glad the owner stopped by my table and recommended it, because it definitely did not disappoint. I also had a glass of the limoncello made fresh in house. It was better than the limoncello I had in Italy. The owners use their family Italian recipes, and all the pasta and dishes are made fresh every day. Make sure you stop by for great Italian food. There is also an upstairs for parties, additional seating l, and rooftop patio with a patio bonfire available for the fall/winter months.
