Papa John’s is what it is. I really think it all comes down to the workers , are they making the food correctly and treating the customers properly? This location is one of the better ones.

I'm not crazy about pizza after being poisoned by it about 20 years ago at a different pizza shop in Atlanta. I'm just recently a few years ago able to eat it again. I will say this though, the Philly steak and cheese papadia is so good you'll want one again and again. And my grandbabies loved the pizza. As for the dining area, It doesn't seem so inviting. Small, very few seats, and the seats are pointed at the street and makes you feel like they don't want you watching them.

8:45 p.m. April 30th 2025 Been buying Papa John's pizzas for years, Love the pizza. Last time I went through the drive-thru, the employee walked away with my credit card. Came back a minute later and handed me my pizza and then my credit card. You do not walk away with someone's credit card. Dumb.
Placed an Uber Eats order from this location aprox 1 hour before closing. A total of 3 Uber Eats drivers attempted to pick up the order but were ignored or turned away by staff at the location. After waiting for an hour the order was cancelled.

Tonight's experience was PITIFUL. The inside lobby was closed and everyone was forced to wait in the drive thru line. I waited for over 10 mins. Got the order and it was WRONG. Instead of discounting the order, they forced me to wait another 10 mins. Ridiculous!

I usually order Pappa John's 2 to 3 times a week. This location is horrible. Service is nearly non-existent here. When I came in today there were about 10 people waiting for their orders but the workers were watching something on the TV mounted on the wall of the lobby and not at all interested in making pizzas for anyone. I get that it is hard to find good help but this is poor management more than anything else. I work all over town and stop by stores everywhere but this one has me reassessing what to buy when in this area. Derby City Pizza is close by and has better service for sure.

Terrance, the delivery driver, forgot my 24 oz Pepsi, promised to bring it back then left work. I had tipped like always and was very understanding with him having to bring it back just for him to not stick to his word. The store did nothing about it, did not try to contact him and didn’t offer me a refund I had to ASK. Poor customer service all around. Pizza was also overcooked.
