Where to begin? I understand it's Valentine's Day so it's going to be busy which may explain slow service and packed conditions but I couldn't find out why the food was so terrible. Our first starter, the oysters, were not drained of any water, I felt like I was drinking the oyster. And the one that was must have been drained on our sharing plates because those still had water on them when provided. Concerning food, the plates were much smaller than any photos provided on the website. I felt a little deceived in that regard. We took a few bites of each plate and quickly decided that would be all. It lacked flavor, the presentation was meh and with the price point I expected something I'd at least want to finish. As a lover of Caesar salad, I was especially surprised that it arrived with poor presentation and once again a lack of taste. We each took 2-3 bites before calling it quits. The majority of the meal, outside of the dessert and my date were not anything to write home about. In fact, we “joked” we should have just gotten a giant order of the chocolate strawberries (they were good!). In final review, I'd like to say that after spending $150 on a Valentine's Day meal, I ordered Steak ‘n Shake within half an hour of leaving Paseo due to the disappointments left in my stomach (and wallet).
Fantastic first time there. Food was great and service staff was awesome. Our waiter made some great recommendations! Will definitely be returning
Our first visit had me wondering why we haven’t tried Paseo sooner! We have tried many of the upscale restaurants in Louisville, and Paseo is now at the top of our list. The food was incredible. The carrots were so outstanding that if paired with potatoes or a grain, could easily make the perfect vegetarian entree. The rigatoni, the steak and the cocktails were all divine. Our server Drew was incredibly knowledgeable, efficient and an absolute delight. Thank you Drew! My birthday dinner was perfection, we will definitely be back!

The Wine selection was great and with happy hour pricing! We had the Warm Marinated Olives and Warm Stuffed Dates as appetizers were outstanding! The 3 of us split the Beet & Arugula salad with goad cheese, which was fantastic!! My son had Linguine Carbonara with Wood Fired Chicken. He said it was fantastic. My daughter had the Paseo burger and house fries, which she said was very good. I had the Duck Confit with rot vegetables. The duck was fantastic but the root vegetables where just a few turnip slices which were not that good or eye appealing. Dessert was the Orange Panna Cotta which was so delicious. Drew was our server and he was very knowledgeable and had a great personality.
The ambience, decor, service and quality of the food were all excellent. Unfortunately, the serving size of the paella for the cost is way too small. The 2 person serving is only enough for 1 person. The four of us who ate paella left the restaurant hungry (and we had ordered appetizers and drinks too). The one person in the party who ordered something else was the only one who got enough food. We spent close to $300 for the meal so we really should not have left hungry.
Excellent! Chefs paella was perfect. Service impeccable.

I’ve visited this restaurant twice, so I feel confident in giving it my honest opinion. Let me get straight to the point: I highly recommend skipping this place.
The menu is a complete mess. It tries to be tapas, but the selection is limited, and the dishes feel more like side dishes than small shareables. The entree menu is even shorter and lacks any real theme.
The wait staff is equally disappointing. They don’t seem to have any enthusiasm or energy.
The prices are fair, so I can’t complain about that. However, I ordered an espresso shot, and it was absolutely terrible.
The decor is nice, and with a new menu and wait staff, it could potentially work. But as it stands, I wouldn’t waste my time or money here.

Food was way overpriced, The portion sizes are ridiculously small for the cost. And to top it all off, the food was rather bland. Hardly any selection to choose from and quite honestly should’ve just went somewhere else.

Paseo completely surprised me—in the best possible way. I’m usually not a big fan of pasta, especially red sauce dishes, but the rigatoni absolutely blew me away. It’s now something I can’t stop thinking about. The Pan Con Tomate, which sounds simple on paper, is truly to die for—the fire-roasted elements take the flavor to another level. Honestly, anything that touches the fire here seems to shine.
On top of the amazing food, our server Alejandro was fantastic—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. Paseo has officially earned a spot on my must-return list. Highly recommend.

Our server/bartender made the night perfect. We were a party of 6 and sat at the round table which made talking to everyone easy. All dishes and drinks were wonderful. It was a snowy, cold night so there were only a few tables which made for a quiet dinner.

Eat Thanksgiving dinner here. It was good. I didn't cook, I didn't clean, and then I just left. There were just 4 of us, so it was as good as it could be. There's so many Thanksgiving traditional foods and they had the major ones. Smoked turkey was great. I'd have loved more dessert options though.

Went for Thanksgiving. Meal a bit salty and basic Good ambiance and liquor. I'd come back in the summer.
We had Thanksgiving dinner and the Arugula and beet salad to start was fantastic. Our guests enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.
What a wonderful and interesting Thanksgiving dinner! The had a set menu with choice of meat and dessert, and it was all delicious! Will definitely be back for their regular menu! Oh, and their Manhattan is awesome!
