This was our second visit! The first visit was great but it’s been a while since we’ve dined so we figured we should try it again since the first time was pretty positive! Our first time we came, we ate in the store but this time around we ordered pick up.
We were disappointed. The food was okay. Pho had a lot of onions and it overpowered the flavor of the dish, but really no biggie.
The BIGGEST problem was that we ordered the Tofu Bahn Mi (a member of our party is Vegan) and on the receipt it was notated and circled. The Bahn mi was not tofu and it was very clearly beef or meat of sorts so they did not have a meal.

I really wanted to like this place since there were such good reviews. The atmosphere is hip and cool. The people at the counter are nice and attentive and the food came out quick. But here's the thing. I ordered beef pho. It was like having a watered down version of bone broth. Like they REALLY stretched their base here. Not only was the broth empty a d bland and felt way too watery to even be considered pho base. They over cooked the noodles and they were like a flake rice noodle pancake at the bottom of my bowl. It was not great. The meat quality was decent but honestly for 19 dollars out the door for a bowl of pho I was PAINFULLY disappointed. So I won't be back. I wouldn't recommend this place if you are well versed with authentic rich pho.

Confusion reigned supreme here, especially for a non-local visitor. Sign in the door was for “Moondog” which I guess is the branding for the bar inside. Okay, sure…. I spent a good three minutes on the sidewalk outside matching pics from this Google My Business listing with windows to make sure I was in the right place, but okay cool. Walk in, it’s described as counter service and kinda feels like chipotle, so I started ordering at the end of the sandwich cool table…. Nope you go the register. There IS a sign but I missed it since my eyes (naturally) were looking up high for the menu. They should move the order at register sign higher IMO. Banh mi was pretty okay and staff were all friendly, I just found the signage to be consistently confusing and it definitely didn’t help the vibe. I’m not very price sensitive but a hot chicken banh mi and Diet Coke from fountain put me at $20 which is high for Louisville IMO.

I knew the day would come. Clean up and get it together.
Get the Grilled Lemongrass Marinated Pork Noodle Bowl and Spring Rolls
Ownership or management has changed. Breads different (not around as good), you have to order hoisin on banh mi instead of automatically getting it, and the poached chicken isn't the same quality. I ordered through doordash and they also forgot my dipping broth. PBL, your loyal customers can tell the slightest differences when you make changes. Something's way off with you guys. I'm so disappointed and apprehensive to order from you anymore. It's upsetting.

It's a great spot for Pho or a Bhan Mi plus other Asian favorites. The broths are rich and well flavored, the crispies are crispy, and the staff is fast.

Never ordered pho anywhere in the world that doesn't come with hoison, soy, and Sriracha. I found the first here. Bland broth with no way to fix it. 5 pieces of cheap thin meat for $17. Forgot chili sauce for spring rolls.
Beautiful interior and the best pho you’ll get in Louisville!!! Can’t go wrong with any item on the menu, but the tried and true beef pho always rocks. Their broth is sensational.

A bright and beautiful place with fantastic pho! I live that this place is open for lunch too where other places downtown only open for dinner

Counter service style pho place. The pho its self was decent but had no depth in the taste. Crunchy roll and noodles was delicious. The atmosphere was unique. And makes it a worth a visit. Thai tea was good.
