Pokehana is a hidden gem in downtown Louisville! The food is outstanding & the people are friendly & efficient. The ingredients are always fresh & tasty. Lots of healthy options. There are a few tables to dine in, but carry out is common. Ordering online is easy & convenient. One of my favorite places. Highly recommend.

Food was good. Restaurant itself is nothing to admire, it's an old Subway with no decor. No parking. Got a parking ticket for using the restroom and picking up my order.
Parking: No parking. Got a ticket for spending 11 minutes in the restaurant. Parked with flashers on in front of restaurant.
We were headed to another place and stumbled upon Pokehana and both of us were so glad! I had a hibatchi bowl that’s had beef, shrimp and chicken along with a host of veggies and fried rice. I could barely eat all the food but wasted nothing? My wife created her own with chicken and spicy crab which was amazing with brown rice. The place is small inside with only a couple tables but I believe it was a younger owner really gave us excellent food as well as he was so kind. If you’re ever in Louisville it’s right down the street from The Galt Hotel, right downtown. It was our first trip to Louisville and I will def be making a visit to Pokehana again soon! Ohhh , I almost forgot, the house sauce is amazing!!!!
Vegetarian options: You def have options for vegetarians, create your own bowl makes it super easy but they are so kind and will walk you through your options.

I had never been in there before today. I had to go to my bank today which is about a block from there. So I decided to stop by there on the way home. I tried their chicken fried rice bowl. It was pretty good. The employees are very friendly and had me out in about five minutes. I will definitely be going back there.
