We did a distillery tour and tasting. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of prohibition craft spirits and the prohibition exhibits were very informative. I love the back story of them and their own shady past. Prior to the tour we could order drinks and they had drinks from the 20's and 30's. The tasting was informative also you can try more than burbon as they also have rum, gin and tequila.

Very neat and unique tasting experience. The spirits were very different, in a good way, from others we tried this week on our trip. This was our last stop after dinner next door and it was a good time and glad we were able to squeeze it in.Willow was super friendly and helpful walking us through our tasting.Last call is 30min before close so be aware!

Bob gave us a tasting to remember. Let us drink at our pace and answered every question we could come up with. Highly recommend

Booked this distillery tour because no one else had availability for my fiancee and I, and my parents. I had lower expectations because this isn’t a “well known” distillery. I was so incredibly surprise by the quality and the story behind this distillery. The bourbon tasting, was simply, amazing.I have tasted several bourbons “off the shelf” but this is quality bourbon. It is clear that they take an immense amount of pride in how their spirits are received by the tasters and they are not shy about sharing their vision and process. Their story is incredible and I bought 3 bottles of bourbon and a bottle of vodka at the end of the tour, that’s how much I liked it.Willow, who is the assistant GM, was such a great tour guide and she did an amazing job with giving us our tour and she is obviously very well versed in her product. She sold me the bourbon’s I bought with her extensive knowledge and pride in her company. Thank you Willow!!You owe it to yourself to try this tour over the “name brand” tours! The bartender at the bar makes a great old fashioned, you can’t go wrong with either of the two offerings. The Dreamcicle and April Showers were amazing, definitely should check it out!!!

We were in Louisville for the bourbon tours and decided to book this one after hearing that it was a bit different than the others. We were not disappointed. Great tour focusing on the prohibition instead of just the bourbon making process. Our tour guide, Willow, was funny and engaging. The bourbon we tasted was all delicious!! They also make vodka and gin so I ordered a gin at the bar after the tour and it was so flavorful! The whole visit felt more personalized than some of the larger operations. Highly recommend!!

We were on spring break with our two young kids and decided we wanted to end our trip with a moment for the adults ;) we decided to book a tour and tasting, and it did not disappoint! They encouraged getting one of their signature drinks for the tour and the bartender was fabulous, as were the drinks. The tour was historical, informative, but mostly fun. The guide was so hospitable and accommodating. Even went out of his way to let us sample their rum and we are so glad he did. One of the best state side rums I’ve ever had. Definitely would go back!

We had an incredible experience!! The barrel pick tour was worth a flight to Louisville by itself. Bob made us feel like family and walked us through the whole prohibition history. Incredible product and incredible vibe.

The tour guide was very enthusiastic and quite nice, so that was awesome. She offered us a lot of testing options and went over the top in that department as well. The tour itself is why this rating is so low. The total for two people at the time of this review was as much as Angel's Envy and Makers' Mark. I can tell you unequivocally, it does NOT compare to those tours in any way. It is like going in their basement with some interesting facts about prohibition, and other moonshiner-type history that doesn't pertain to NuLu Prohibition craft spirits specifically. The place where they produce and Rick the spirit is pretty much on par with a garage. Overall, if you want to stop in and try their whiskey, stick to the bar and just don't bother with the tour itself. They should nix the tour and focus on their product, and growth.

Went to a tour and tasting on 3-16. We had Bob as our guide. He was great and made the tour very enjoyable. All of the spirits were tasty.

This was a great tour! While more relaxed than other distillery tours the tight-knit family and team make the experience well worth it. On this tour you get to learn about not just their bourbon but other spirits as well as all about prohibition and how it influenced the company. There were several tastings and in the end I was able to actually theive my own bottle straight out of the barrel. Overall, a fantastic experience with great people. Highly reccomended!

Alice made our tour so much fun!! Her knowledge and passion for what she does truly does shine through and that was awesome. We enjoyed tasting and learning about their process and the scandal surrounding the company!!Definitely go, enjoy the tour and ask all the questions - she will answer them!

I went to this bar, and the bartender Willow was extremely rude. I requested to substitute an alcohol for another in a drink, and she couldn’t have been more annoyed and curt with me. There are several other bars in Louisville to choose from, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

If I could give zero stars I would. Willow was the rudest bartender I’ve ever came across. They had an attitude simply because I asked a few questions about the menu. Steer clear and patron one of the dozens of friendlier bars in the area.
