QDOBA Mexican Eats

Just finished lunch today. We come to this location often and it’s always good. Today I will say was one of my best experiences. The gentleman that waited on me and my family was excellent. Food was fresh and so good. It was truly nice to see someone who really cared about his job and serving the customer.

The treatment I just got from the lady in this establishment was a bit rude. She threw my bag at me. Didn’t say two words to me. And I did not get my moneys worth for the chips and queso I was just handed. 🙄

It’s Qdoba. You know what it is. As long as the cooks keep their grip on status quo, they can afford to train young managers on me without a fuss. I thought the guac was ‘causally unlimited’ since they converted to California prices half a decade ago, and since they used to give more guac for free but I guess not anymore. Because the person I spoke to at the Middletown branch would have me believe my reality needs to be reconsidered. So I reconsidered it.

Maybe the company memo had just been sent out: “Don’t admit anything about our previous relationship with Guac. Delete this email.”

And if so, this person deserves the prize. I know they’ve been giving me extra guac upon request for the last few years, because I remember asking twice in one visit just to see if they would do it. They did.

Or maybe they definitely did and I should document this here so it can be referenced as an authority that remembers, like FISA.

Nobody was there, so I was in and out, which was good because I was on lunch break. I ordered a naked mini bowl with chicken. What seemed to be a fresh pot of brown rice, wss actually hard, not all of it, but it seemed like some fresh rice was mixed with some old rice.I ate it, but some of that old rice killed it, hence the 4 stars

I walked in the door and it took a minute, for someone to recognize that I was waiting. She did apologize however, the other lady who got up from the floor doing (I don't know what) proceeded to put on gloves (not wash her hands) and make my order. I know she didn't touch the food but the fact the she was doing something else on the floor and not wash her hands was a put off. I'm not sure about coming back to this location.

My burrito was HUGE and really good!!

Megan is great!! Love talking to her when I come in.

I have a horrible experience at this qdoba every single time I come here. The employees are incredibly rude and will give you the tiniest portions you've ever seen in your life. For the money I am spending to get a bowl, I don't expect 4 bites of food. I tell myself it might be different every time and it never is. So disappointing, I will not be returning here again, even if I have to go out of my way to go to a different one.

I love QDoba. I have for as long as I've been aware that QDoba exists. I don't know that I've ever had a bad experience at QDdoba. May an experience here or there that wasn't 100%, but never anything bad.

On a recent evening we had an appointment at another business nearby and decided to have dinner at QDoba before that. We'd also never been to this location before.

We walked in around 5:45pm and walked right up to the counter. There were a couple of occupied tables but other than that they weren't that busy (it was a Tuesday evening). After reviewing the menu for a minute the young man behind the counter took our orders and made our food as we went down the line. I opted for a Chicken Bowl, my wife ordered the Cheese Crusted Quesadilla. He was pleasant and fun and had a great sense of humor. I ordered Our food was made quickly and accurately.

My Chicken Bowl as excellent, as always. I always order extra pico de gallo. QDoba has the best pico On Earth! My wife's Cheese Crusted Quesadilla was huge. ENORMOUS, I tell you!

The dining room could have used a little attention (several tables needed to be cleaned up) and the drink station was a bit...drink-y. The service area behind the counter was cluttered and the food assembly line could have been wiped down. During our visit no one came out to look at the dining room, but it was in generally good shape.

We've got another appt nearby in a couple weeks and we're planning to have dinner here again. Once a fan of QDoba, always a fan of QDoba!

I refuse to go to any other qdoba in Louisville unless it is this one! This qdoba has the friendliest staff and the best manager! He is truly the best in the business!! I come in here he and his staff make you feel welcome and create such a positive environment. They are not stingy on their food portions either, making the food even better! The food is always fresh and delicious. If you’re wanting qdoba , make sure to come to this one, it won’t disappoint :)!
