We enjoyed the vegetarian combination. Food was delicious and staff was friendly and made recommendations. The chef even came out and introduced himself. Definitely give this place a try!

This restaurant was truly beautiful inside. The servers were kind and attentive. And the food was delicious! My friends and I shared some of the vegan dishes, as well as tea and coffee. Will definitely be back!

Vegetarian options: Very easy to eat vegan here! Most, if not all, of the vegetarian menu is vegan.

Perhaps the best food value in Louisville, Queen of Sheba is a gem. On a recent Saturday night, our party of 4 ordered two appetizers, four entrees, a desert, drinks- and our bill was less than $100, not including our (fully earned 30%) tip for the stellar service.
Tips- 1. Earlier is better crowd-wise.
2. Ask your server- we had a hard time with one family member finding something to satisfy, and the server had the perfect suggestion immediately after we explained our problem.
2. When in Rome- Wash your hands, take people you love, and have them serve your food in the traditional style, pictured. Scooping up the entrees with injera bread is something you can't fix at home, and something about the tactile nature of eating with hands, the intimacy of the space, sharing the central feast instead of your own individual plates? It speaks to something ancient and primal in one, and left a warm glow of contentment, left our family in that reverie after you have shared a sacred experience with others.

You should try it sometime.

Parking: Family style traditional dining using hands is an option.

Great food. We ate at one of the "traditional tables" and shared two main dishes. They offered gluten free injera, and it was delicious...also reasonably priced.

Very nice experience. Good quality food and quantity too. The flavors were amazing and the suggestions of the server were excellent. This place has been around for a long time and we can see why we truly enjoyed our visit there. Even though it was my first, my family has been on several previous occasions and their recommendation to come with excellent.

Great atmosphere and service. This was our first time trying Ethiopian food so we weren’t sure what to expect. Presentation was neat (family style) on a large pancake-like base. We had lots of different items on it but it somewhat all tasted the same. I learned that Ethiopian has very muted flavors so it wasn’t my fave. That being said, very glad we tried it!
