Super friendly people. Nice, quiet environment to drink some coffee and read a book, converse one-on-one with a friend without trying to talk over other conversations or music, or just to sit there and relax. Treats made right there in the store. Sondra has a great business going on here and I will make an endeavor to visit more often.

This is by far my favorite coffee shop in Louisville. They are consistently good and very friendly. I always get a double shot of espresso over ice with caramel and cream and it never disappoints. Their espresso roast is delicious, I am so glad they sell it!! The red velvet latte is good too with extra shots of espresso!

Very nice environment! The coffee here is great! We buy a lot of beans or ground coffee for our family. Our next trip to St. Louis will happen in a week and we have had multiple request for Red Hot Roasters. I had to buy 3 cans this time around. I wish they would have a frequent buyer program ;) . I think we are on can number 10 in the past two months. Keep up the good work!

This is some of the best coffee in the area. Strong as all get-out, but without the caffeine crash I normally get from coffee. The flavor is mild, but it packs a punch. Friendly staff. I'm not very fond of the area and the parking is a nightmare (bad enough that on two occasions I drove by and then drove off) but the coffee makes up for it.

This new home of Red Hot Roasters rules. They have the great coffee they always have in a great location as you enter Nu Lou plus great baked goods in a cozy space where everyone is not staring into a phone or computer. Great service by friendly Baristas.

Excellent coffee (I really loved the cold brew), delicious pastries that are made in-house, and friendly service all make for a place that I would stop by over and over again. I am still dreaming of that brownie with an Oreo buried in the middle... YUM!

Finally, I made it to Red Hot Roasters! It's now in Butchertown, on E Main Street next to Hi Five Doughnuts and across the street from Lincoln Elementary. The exterior is bright blue so you won't miss it, and there's a parking lot next to it and street parking. The entrance is on the side. Upon entering I was impressed with the amount of space in the cafe area. There's a large counter, small refrigerator for sodas and juices, stools at the counter, 3 tables and comfy chairs and couch. Now, if people were occupying each of those spaces it would feel really crowded but today it was just my family of 4. My husband got chai. I took a sip and thought it was great. Spicy, but it wasn't overwhelming. Very smooth. I ordered a drip coffee, dark roast. I only use a splash of cream with coffee because I want to enjoy the full flavor. Sadly, the drip coffee didn't offer much of that, so I'd likely try another drink on my next visit. Our boys enjoyed the kids hot chocolate, which is a good value for 12 oz. The lady making our drinks was very friendly to us and others that passed through. It did take awhile for us to get our drinks with only one person behind the bar, so give yourself a few extra minutes if you plan to stop by. You can leave with cans of coffee to brew at home, regular and dark roast.

I didn't know this location in Butchertown even existed until today! such a friendly and welcoming little coffee house! we really enjoyed sitting in the Vintage lawn furniture on the back deck, looking over the Courtyard, shared by the other businesses on the Block!
