Hubby and I have been here several times and try something different each time. The food is delicious, comes out hot, and is very plentiful.
Star works there as a waitresses and is so attentive and sweet.

Simple, not over-complicated food that is absolutely delicious! Highly recommend the Kentucky Burgoo soup, Double Decker Rubbie burger, and hickory pulled pork sandwich.

I love their hot browns. I get them almost every time I go there. They have the best salads that I've ever tasted. And the cobbler was peach/apple and it was delicious. The owners are super nice. We always enjoy ourselves every time that we go.

We felt very uncomfortable as LGBTQ customers. At first, the service (though a bit slow) and the food were good. However, once it was clear that we were together and showed minimal PDA, the atmosphere changed and we felt unwelcome. A gentleman approached the bar and made a comment to the bartender, and shortly after that we were cut off. The situation made us feel like we were being pushed to leave, which was disappointing and upsetting.

We've been here 3 times over about 2 years. The first time we waited several minutes before getting seated, but once we got seated & served the food was great and we wanted to go back.
We've been back twice since & left both times without eating because we waited so long without being recognized by anyone. There seems to be no hostess on duty. Tonight, all we saw is one lady working about 6-7 tables. Not getting greeted + an overworked server = we're out of there.
