Chicken is the best around town and I'm very picky when it comes to chicken ! Rest the food is also really good too ! The kids LOVE the chicken and mac n cheese and even the green beans . Prices are pretty decent . Only complaint I have is parking and building can use a few updates . I stop here every time I'm in Louisville !

It was our first time stopping at Sam's. We were driving back to Chicago and let Me tellllll youuuuu we were definitely starving. The place is adorable IMO, reminded me a small mom and pop place where everyone in the neighborhood definitely stops by at least once a week. It's no big fancy restaurant it is a neighborhood hidden GEM. The lady taking orders was the absolute sweetest and kindest restaurant employee I've ever had the pleasure to meet. Love that it's set up cafeteria style you can literally see what you're ordering. The macaroni and cheese was phenomenal especially the collard greens, the fried apples, the pecan pie, the peach cobbler was absolutely delicious!!! The wings were fire too, we just needed more hot sauce, the Jack Salmon was an ENORMOUS serving definitely could feed a whole family!!!! The 21 piece shrimp dinner was fire too !!!! Definitely highly recommended!!!!! Amazing hospitality, delicious food!!!, kind employees!!!! Give them all of your money!!!! We are definitely stopping by on our next road trip to try the rest of the menu!!!!

Omg, this was the best fast food experience I have ever had. It pains me to describe it as fast food because this food is full of love, pride, and experience. The only reason I used fast food is because it was quick, and they use it in their name. It couldn't have been fresher, better, or quicker. I also felt like a guest instead of just a customer. Excellent service, clean, fair prices, and DELICIOUS!! THANK YOU. No other place in town holds a candle to this gem

My family visited Louisville from Savannah on the Fourth July for a few days, we were looking for someplace to get great B-Que ribs, when we run into this little Gem in the Hood. The food inspections grade was a 97 and I could tell by the number of people in the parking lot this was the place we were looking for. We order the B-Qued Rib Tips and they were so tender they melt in your mouth. The Fried Chicken was seasoned well and fried with some type of batter I would think Buttermilk. But the chicken was so juicy and tender on the inside. The sides was delicious as well. We actually left our 4 star hotel on a second day and headed for a second day of Sam's Fast Food. Service was great, food was served in large portions and relatively reasonable. I will revisit Sam's again while visiting Louisville.
