I'll admit, I thought I was going to be able to come in and sit down to enjoy a nice meal. However they only have carry-out. Now I am not used to eating such a big, scrumptious, fish dinner in the car. But, it was without a doubt the best meal I have ever eaten. I can't wait to get back downtown to stop here. This time I will bring a towel with me, so as not to get it all over my car. I will never forget how good this place is: fish, red potatoes, corn on the cob, and broccoli with a very yummy spice on it. The man who waited on me was nice and very polite. I presume this place is owned by immigrants so maybe they didn't have a whole lot to get started. You have to admire them that they were willing to do this.

REPLY: then renovate so it doesn't look like it has a drive thru. You obviously don't have a baby, so don't shame me for not being able to easily park & go inside. Come on now. They made the building look like it has a drive thru, so I went by since I have a baby, but they closed the drive thru down, so it ended up being a waste of gas & time. Don't make the same mistake I did.

The food was amazing he's so friendly and easy to order from
Not what I expected at all I thought it was a restaurant instead it was a store with hardly anything on the shelves

My second time here and couldn't be more pleased. The food is great and the price very reasonable. And downtown needs something just like this. Healthy and easy and I can walk here from the hospital where I work.

They have a nice selection, but they charge the same for raw or cooked items. Raw items should cost less since we cook them ourselves. They would get more business if they charge less for raw items. I would definitely go back if they lower the cost of raw seafood. I prefer to cook my own.

Delicious! I'll be back.I was delighted enough just to see someone setting up shop here in the first place. This building had been vacant for so many years; I probably would have come in to gawk at anything that sprung up. So I'm especially happy to see a business that is neither a chain nor a liquor store, and one that could do well in this location.Broadway is a special kind of heat-island hellscape where you're going to be hard-pressed to find a good dine-in experience. Seafood Heaven knows its market. It's really only set up for take-out, and it's also aiming to do family meals and catering. Rather than put in tables for dining in, there are a handful of shelves offering dry goods and cold beverages, and just a few benches. For lunch, I ordered catfish. All meals come with three sides -- corn, potatoes, and broccoli. You get your choice of seasoning -- a house version, Cajun, j**** and something else I'm forgetting right now. And the seafood is served atop the sides, wrapped in a clamshell, and it all steams together, flavors intermingling. My catfish was excellent, bone-free, finger-licking. I gobbled it down without even considering giving any of my cats a taste. (Maybe next time, sweeties.) I appreciated that there were actual vegetables in there. The broccoli was nicely done. The corn was obliterated, which probably is the right thing for them to do most of the year, but it was a little sad to eat in August, when actual good fresh corn is near its peak.Prices are also really very reasonable, especially when you consider that seafood tends to be more expensive. Margins are surely thin here. And now I'm thinking about my next visit. And rooting for this place to stick around.

I heard about this place and ordered food for six adults. I ordered four of the dinners with a combination of shrimp, crab legs and crayfish and all came with the potatoes broccoli and corn. I picked the house seasoning. We loved it all so much! My brother said the broccoli is probably his favorite part and my sister-in-law is the only one of us from the south and the only one of us who could figure out how to eat the crawdads! We had plenty to eat and a whole tray of leftovers. I went there to order and the food was ready in less than 20 minutes. I attached a picture of the menu and next time I will call ahead! Happy to support a local business in an often forgotten neighborhood with DELICIOUS food!
Amazing and fresh
Always a long wait even if you call the order in.
