Overated and Inappropriately staffedI ordered, 2 seafood Mac and cheese, fried shrimp , Fried fish, shrimp and grits and fish and chicken tacos. The tacos and Seafood mac SMACK!! When I say delicioussssss I mean ? mmm. The fried fish and shrimp was mediocre and the shrimp and grits was disgusting. Now we all have different palates so what may work me me may not work for you so $100 later, I won’t focus too much on the food. Let’s talk about the service!!The service was HORRIBLE!!!! I mean utterly deficient in so many areas of food delivery. No greeting, sat ourselves. Wake is 15 minutes for a waitress to come over and be very disengaged, after sitting waited 15 minutes to get water. We spent 3 hours in this restaurant and everything was coming out one at a time. The food was sitting in the delivery window for several minutes. I’m talking about at times 10 minutes. We had to ask for silverware, ask for comments, ask for water, ask for everything and then the waitress says you’ll have to wait I’m here by myself.Wrong thing to do. Though I get that she was there by herself and there was no way to get optimal customer service, I also think that patronizing a business comes with expectations of AMAZING customer service. I felt bad for her so I still tiled 25% however. It’s not worth the wait. There’s nothing extraordinary but if I have to choose off the menu my it’ll be the MAC and cheeses. The wait time, Poor service delivery, long time weight time for just ok food means I will not come back or suggest that this be a staple spot when visiting the LUH.

We were excited to try the Seafood Lady after seeing it featured on Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives. It was fantastic! The atmosphere was warm and inviting. Great location. The food was fresh with bold flavors. The seafood fries, biscuits, fish tacos were amazing. The staff was friendly and welcoming. Excited to return again.

We were in town for the day and visited the downtown location. The vibe was a little off when we walked in, I think they were surprised for a group of 8 at that time with no reservation. But after a short wait of them setting a table for us , we were seated. The wait for our food was a little lengthy, but I was super impressed with the meal itself. I had the fish po’boy and the chee-sea fries- wow! One of my super picky kids just ordered the Cajun Alfredo without anything on it (so basically just Alfredo, ha) and he enjoyed it! The shrimp tacos and the shrimp and grits other family members ordered were delicious too! My suggestion is grab a reservation on OpenTable, don’t be in a rush, and go enjoy the food! Oh and it should be common knowledge- but anything marked MP is going to be more expensive due to cost increase, so if trying to stay on a budget, stick to the items priced on the menu. We all did and our bill was extremely reasonable for a party of 8!

Another triple D restaurant fail!!! I arrived at the restaurant and waited 5 minutes before even greeted. Tried to order lobster Mac and cheese, they were out. Tried to order scallops, they were out. Finally got 1/2 combo of crab legs and shrimp with 2 side included. I thought the sides were included but was charged for them!!! Why say included when you are going to charge the customer? Were asked to wait outside since they shut down their dining room. After 15 minutes my order arrived and disappointment started. Food was cold and tasteless. The sauce on the seafood lacked any salt and spices. The owner of the place was kind but the food is not even worth coming in for.

I wanted to leave a good review-I had SUCH high hopes for this place. We sat for over an hour and a half with not attention or food-I haven’t even gotten our food yet-but I don’t know that that really matters with the la l of service. We stood at the door, both went to the bathroom (at different times) and we’re not acknowledged. Hoping for the best we stayed, and now are regretting it-my husband already left, refusing to stay after the hour and a half mark…I stayed because I truly felt bad. There were two servers and maybe five tables-they weren’t overwhelmed. I’m not sure what went wrong here honestly. I can only hope our food is worth a two hour+ wait honestly .

I have been waiting for over a month now for my refund. I placed an order online for delivery on March 4th. One of your employees (female) called me shortly after and stated that your system was down. She went on to say that the only way they could begin cooking my order was if I came into the restaurant and paid with cash. She was supposed to cancel my order and refund me. That never happened and it is now April.I spoke to a Ms. Theresa and she said that she text or called the boss regarding this issue. She said that I would receive my refund and also said that I would receive a free meal for my trouble when I wanted to order again. All I had to do was ask for Ms. Theresa. I haven't come in for a free meal yet because I don't have transportation, but I still haven't received a refund either. Nor a call back.I am a huge fan and supporting customer of The Seafood Lady. Have been since it opened on Oak street. I am shocked at the lack of professionalism regarding this issue. I also called. Again, and left a message with a female employee tonight with my contact info. Have a blessed night.

The Catfish and grits was awesome. The young lady that took my order was a delight to talk to and she was very polite. Some of the best food I have ever eaten and I travel all over.

Ashley was our server, and she was terrific! We had a table of 8, and she never lost patience with us. We started with a tower, that let us sample multiple items, and then placed our entree orders. Everything was mouth-watering!We shared tastes of each others’ meals, and agreed that every choice was fabulous. Plan to go and enjoy a leisurely, decadent meal!

Asked for thick white fish this is what I got, spent 60 dollars on food not worth 5 over seasoned, dry fish over cooked. Very disappointed .

I spent 60 dollars on food that was over seasoned, person said one meal would feed two people, fries maybe small pieces of fish. 6 shrimp for 11.50. Will not be going back.

If I could give no stars I would. We waited 3 HOURS for our food with no remorse or apologies. We finally decided to just leave after 3/4 of our group had eaten 45 min prior but they refused to take off the remaining food from our bill.

Long story short a little more passion and effort put towards every dish, would make this place worth a Cross Country Trip. Very satisfying nonetheless. Came from 3 hours out and wasn't disappointed in anything. The service is phenomenal; very welcoming.

Maybe I wasn’t aware of a new recipe for the fries but I drive an hour for this. Been craving her sausage, shrimp, and fries. If they ran out of the regular cheese they could have just said det. $55 disappointment. Normally on point. This time with the concession stand nacho cheese……it’s a no from me dawg.
