The ribs where ok and the baked beans where different . I did not care for the potato salad but everyone had different taste buds. The main thing was that I like to be asked if I want bbq sauce on my meat or not and that was not the case . The bbq sauce was overpowering . Not my style of bbq
I’ve had barbecue at over 200 places across the country and SITB is definitely in that upper echelon. Turkey and pork ribs are fall off the bone succulent and so tasty. The brisket is fantastic and Smokey and the pulled pork and chicken are flavorful, juicy and terrific. I love the Nanna’s potato salad that has a little bite to it, the Mac and cheese and the phenomenal baked beans. I emailed about doing a catering order for my sons birthday. They responded super fast and sent everything to me and even helped me decide how much food would be a good fit. It was my first experience with Shack in the Back and first time trying the food. We loved everything! I appreciate the quick response and help.
