SCREW FOUND IN CHICKEN SHAWARMA . I have ordered from this place multiple times through DoorDash . Nothing has ever been a problem, until the night I ordered on Sunday October 5,2025. I ordered twice that night via DoorDash, in total we bought 17 shawarma. The shawarma was delivered securely and sealed. We had leftovers to eat the next day, Monday, when my boyfriend was eating he felt something hard. He thought he broke a tooth, instead, he found something WORSE. A SCREW INSIDE HIS FOOD!!! A foreign object , no idea what type of machinery this came from however it is beyond unacceptable and disgusting. I called the number listed for shawarma guys, he asked me to explain the incident twice, the guy had lots of background noise going on ; like he was talking to someone else while on the phone with me. All he replied was , āok? how can I help you?ā ā¦. I said well first of all maybe a refund will be courteous and second how about you make sure this never happens again? He said he will call me back that day at 6pm. He never called back. He has shown me he is not taking accountability for this issue, he did not try to resolve the issue further, he is not showing any sense of worry about this incident. Families eat this food, I fed this to my daughter!! I have been sick to my stomach since yesterday at just the thought of having ate this food! I cannot imagine the amount of any bacteria or such inside the food we ate. Thank God my boyfriend didnāt swallow the screw. Just ordered the Chicken Over Rice. Being from New York thatās my go to Halal. Iāve had other Mediterranean food in the area, and I wanted to give these guys a try but I can honestly say it tasted weird. Idk if it was the rice or the white sauce but something had a strong taste of lime or something. Whatever it was I have never had my chicken over rice taste like that. Probably wonāt be back, was hoping it wouldnāt be bad but
Their cheesesteak sandwich is average at best. Do not spend you money on that item. Maybe the rest is good but dont buy that sandwich.

Ordered the chicken shawarma bowl through DoorDash. Chicken was tender and tasted okay, but didnāt have much flavor. The rice was very good. Description said it came with cucumber tomato salad but I only received a pile of plain lettuce with my chicken and rice. Maybe they ran out of the cucumber salad and improvised by giving me a handful of lettuce? I think the right thing to do would have been to contact the customer and let me know they were out of salad and ask if I still want the order or if I want something different. For $12 I think overall itās a good deal, just donāt expect restaurant quality. It is quick and cheap food.
